Mike was an outstanding guide, knowledgable in plants and nature, as well as aboriginal history and art. It was just two of us, but he did not spare any effort to show us everything, from nature and aboriginal art to beaches and neighborhoods providing true insight into community. We definitely enjoyed it, it was well worth our time.

Interesting and fun trip with Mike. I recommend this if you want a taste of a National Park and some great views of the Northern beaches and coastline. In addition there were some great facts and fun diversions such as a Bible garden and watching Home and Away being filmed!

We spent a full and entertaining day trip with Mike - a really nice lad. We visited several of the well known beaches and coastal towns as well as the local national park. The highlight was seeing the Australian birds and animals and getting Mike's knowledge of the history of the area. All in all a grand day out- excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Mike took us on this Northern Beaches Tour and was a great guide/host for the day. We had tea and Tim Tams in the National Park and saw Aboriginal sites and paintings. We then went on to see some of the wonderful beaches, Palm Beach, Newport, Narrabben, (featured in the Beach Boys song Surfing USA), and Manly to name a few. Had a great lunch and a fantastic day. Saw some wonderful sights, got amazing pictures and learnt a lot from Mike. Would thoroughly recommend it.

we had a wonderful time. Mike was very informing & knowledgeable . We seen a lot of beaches & history that we would not have seen. WE would recommend this tour.

Joyce_D February 2020

Mike was a great guide. I think we saw all the northern beaches. He was very knowledgeable about Ku-ring-gai National Park and the beach area. The ferry back from Manly Beach was just a great add-on.

Joyce D February 2020

Great tour. I think we saw all the northern beaches with Mike. It was awesome. Mike is extremely knowledgeable about area. It's a tour that I would recommend without hesitation. The ferry back from Manly only added to the experience.

One of the best tours we have taken, magnificent views of the beaches and National Park, would recommend it without any reservations. Tour guide/driver was terrific.

My family and I had an amazing time on this tour! Mike is an awesome guide who is not only extremely knowledgable of the area, but also very friendly and fun to explore with. Although we were tourists, we felt like locals. Highly recommend!

Booked 3 tours with Northern Beaches Tour + Blue Mountains + South Coast & Southern Highlands. Pre-Booking: Mr Bryant responded promptly to email inquiries and was able to fine tune the plans to our needs. He gave clear and direct answers without hidden info. Also able to give good discounts on multiple tours. Tour: Bus is always on time at pickup. His tours generally correlated to pre-booking plan. Friendly guy who gave us necessary information about various tour locations. He is also honest to let us know if he do not know the answers to our questions. Brought us to nice relaxing lunch locations, take care of our immediate needs, very stable driver and always a good chat with him. Recommended.

Our Tours were well-organized and our guide very knowleagle. Lunch spots were added bonuses. Mikchael knows and loves the city of Sydney. Our tours were tailored to what we wanted to see at our own pace. i recommend Go Beyond wholeheartedly.

We enjoyed two small group tours with Mike. Both days we felt like we were on a trip with a family member showing us around. One was to the Northern Beaches (NB) and the other was The Blue Mountains (BM). Both were fantastic and are highly recommend to get away from the central city and see the outer area of Sydney. Mike picked us up at our hotel in a very comfortable van. On our NB tour, views were breathtaking as we made multiple stops that included Kuringgai National Park, Hawksberri River, coast line towns (where we had lunch) and cliffs (where we spotted whales in the distance), and a scenic, serene Bible Garden high above the sea. Our last stop was to pick up the Manly Ferry back to Circular Quay. The BM tour was just as wonderful as we stopped at Featherdale Wildlife Park where we fed various animals like the Kangaroo, took photos with a Koala Bear and saw many Southern Hemisphere animals and beautiful birds. On this route we stopped at many scenic outlooks- mountains, valleys, waterfalls and had lunch in a small town along the way. We stopped at scenic world where we road a tram, train and cable car viewing the area. We also walked through a rainforest area there. Our last stop was for an ice cream in a small town before being dropped off at the hotel. Thanks Mike for a great two days in Sydney!

There were 4 of us and Michael certainly made the tour very personal. He has a good knowledge of the places we visited which we really appreciated.. Stopped in the national park for morning tea then proceeded along the Hawksbury river. Lunch at an RSL Which was very nice. Following along to palm beach with beautiful scenery all the way. A bonus was we got to meet Georgie Parker while they were filming home and away. We finished at Manly where we boarded the ferry back to Sydney quay. I would certainly recommend this tour it gave us an overview of that side of Sydney. Thanks Michael

Fabulous tour. Firstly, Michael was an amazing tour guide. Best we’ve had in terms of attention to detail, knowledge, care to ensure we got the tour experience we wanted. We spent the day seeing the local side of the area - even saw wild cockatoo, parrot, turkeys and pods of dolphin. Would highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful day out with Mike. Picked up from our central city accommodation in a comfortable van, for a day touring the Noethern Beaches. Mike shared local knowledge & answered our questions, making sure that we stopped at every little secret spot. We would not have managed to find half of the places if we were on our own. Morning tea & lunch were delicious and the ferry ride back to the CBD that was included was a great way to end the day. Thanks Mike - we absolutely recommend this tour to everyone!

Michael picked us up from our AirBnb and spent the day sharing stories and cultural knowledge that only locals would know. He brought us to tucked away places that you would not be able to find in a tour book! We really enjoyed the small group setting, had many opportunities to interact with Michael, ask questions, and really get to know Australia. Easy walks at each location.

Had a great day out with Mike , he was down to earth, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about all the destinations we visited. Would highly recommend this true professional. The highlight of the day was clearly this photo

First, Michael and his company Go beyond Tours, are the best in small group tours. We used him for 3 different tours and each one was fabulous. On this tour we were picked up at our apartment in Sydney CBD and then we rode in a small van up to Ku-ring-gai national Park where we hiked a short distance (yes expect a little walking) to the Aborginal rock carvings. Then we went down to the north beaches and stopped at several places to take photos and enjoy the beautiful views. One stop was a Bible garden that was very interesting. Plants were labeled with the bible verse that mentioned the specific plant. We had a nice lunch at a Veterans Club (provided of course). A wonderful day for us and we got some great photos and friendship from the trip.

I went with my father on the Northern Beaches Tour with Michael in January 2019. The whole day was absolutely fantastic! Immediately after our booking, Michael was in touch via email to answer questions and to confirm pickup time and location. He picked us up directly outside our accommodation in a very comfortable and air conditioned van. Michael was very knowledgeable about Australian history and culture, and pointed out lots of really neat little tidbits throughout our drive. We started by driving down Macquarie Street and went over the Harbour Bridge on our way to the national park. Michael showed us a lot of nice areas of Sydney en route, and we had tea and Tim Tams (delicious!!) in the park. We then visited some very interesting Indigenous historical sites. Even though the weather wasn't perfect (cloudy and windy), we still got to enjoy many lovely beaches and great spots for photos throughout the day. Lunch was very tasty as well, and at the end of the tour (at Manly Beach), Michael bought us tickets for the ferry back to Circular Quay, which in itself was a great chance to take pictures of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I can't say enough about how nice Michael was, and how he went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour at all times. We had great conversations with him along the way as well!

Gary A January 2019

I think you should drop the national park option off and spend more time on the beaches. The aboriginal paintings are not that exciting.

carraquenia January 2019

As others have said, Mike took a small group of us to the northern beaches and Ku-ring-Gai. I wish I had more time to explore each place. This would be a great thing to do to start off a vacation and then go back and really take some time in the locations that were your favorites. I did end up having an hour-long swim and then noodling around in the shops + dinner at Manly Beach before taking the ferry back to Sydney's Circular Quay. It was my last night before an early morning flight back to the States, so it was my fond farewell to Australia. Mike is a lovely guy, very informative and accommodating. I recommend.

What a fabulous day spent in Sydney with a GREAT guide. I booked this tour solo and was so glad that I did! I was able to see so many beaches and sites in Sydney that I would have missed. Mike picked me up from my hotel and the group spent the day seeing gorgeous beaches, eating a fantastic lunch and enjoying the lovely national park. I also loved riding the ferry back to circular quay as well as it was great to be on the water. Don't miss this opportunity to see some of Sydney's most beautiful beaches and lookout points with a private guide.

debskender November 2018

Mike was an awesome tour guide. I was a little nervous about spending so much on a day tour...but this tour was worth every cent. The places you visit are spectacularly beautiful and Mike is happy to tailor what you do to your interests. The lunch included had good choices and generous serves and in a lovely location. Its really a tour you can relax on and Mike takes care of everything... even lost property....I left my phone charger on his bus and he kindly mailed it back to me in Perth. I had no idea Sydney had so much natural beauty it is really stunning. Last year I did a day tour of the Amalfi coast in Italy...I found this tour even more breathtaking. Deborah

Jason D November 2018

Michael was a great host, he took us to the most picturesque locations and was able to provide great insight and facts of the areas. I would highly recommend the tour!!
