Our Ecommerce application includes the following security features:

  • We use Stripe as our credit card payment gateway. Credit card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256 and decryption keys are stored on separate machines.
  • Stripe’s infrastructure for storing, decrypting, and transmitting card numbers runs in separate hosting infrastructure and doesn’t share any credentials with Stripe’s primary services.
  • Stripe is certified to the highest industry standards and has obtained regulatory licenses around the world, including AFSL in Australia.
  • Ecommerce functionality programmed and maintained by Neto eCommerce, a sophisticated Australian website developer specializing in internet security and watertight website infrastructure.

ORDERING ALCOHOL THROUGH GIFTS AUSTRALIA

Gifts Australia supports the responsible service of alcohol. It is an offence to supply alcohol to or obtain alcohol on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. Liquor Licence LIQP770016481. 

If ordering gifts containing alcohol, you confirm that you are over the age of 18 years. It is a legal requirement that the person placing the order is over the age of 18 and the person receiving the delivery is over the age of 18. 

 

DELIVERY TERMS

We are proud of the quality and presentation of our products and do everything we can to ensure that every recipient is happy with their delivery. In the even that your order is incorrect or arrives damaged or faulty, please contact our Customer Service Team on 1300 459 452 or through our Contact Us page. 

  • We will happily replace, exchange or issue a credit or refund depending on the issue (damage, missing or lost), it's extent and how you wish to resolve the issue, at our discretion.
  • Reasonable damage in transit to packaging is expected and is not eligible for a refund or exchange.
  • We will require photos so that we can better understand the extent of the damage or issues with the product.
  • We will not be able to replace, echange or issue a credit or refund for any product that does not meet the requirements listed below.
  • Please note that refunds will be processed back to the original method of payment.
  • Orders cannot be amended or cancelled once they have been dispatched and are with our couriers for delivery.
  • Please note that changes to orders containing cheese are limited once they have been processed at checkout.
  • Conditions apply to  deliveries made to hospitals, hotels and schools. Further information available through our Help Centre and Delivery Page.
  • If 'Signature Required' is not chosen during checkout, 'Authority to Leave' has been granted. Deliveries will be placed in a secure location on the premises, away from public view and a photo may serve as Proof of Delivery.
  • When 'Authority to Leave' has been given, Gifts Australia and our couriers cannot accept responsibility or liability on the rare occasion that a consignment is lost or stolen after our couriers have recorded the package as 'successfully delivered'.
  • When delivering with 'Signature Required' to a business or location with a mail room, concierge, loading dock or other, any representative may sign for the parcel. Gifts Australia and our couriers cannot accept responsibility or liability on the rare occasion that a consignment is lost or stolen after a signature has been obtained.
  • More rural or remote areas typically have deliveries sent to their closes post office or a collection point instead of a street address. Some business addresses in metro-locations also have a simiar arrangement. Should this occur, Gifts Australia is unable to collect or compensate.
  • Should Gifts Australia successfully delivery to an address that was provided incorrectly at checkout, we are unable to organise a courier to collect or redeliver the order. Once a delivery has been made successfully to the address provided at checkout, Gifts Australia is unable to collect or compensate.

Gift vouchers purchased on or after 18th December 2017 are valid for 3 years.
Gifts vouchers purchased prior to 18th December 2017 are valid for 1 year.

 

EXPERIENCE VOUCHER EXPIRY

Experience vouchers purchased on or after 22nd January 2018 are valid for 3 years.
  • The availability of the experience at the price paid is guaranteed for 1-year post-purchase.
  • If beyond 1 year the experience price has increased, the difference will need to be paid directly to the vendor upon booking.
  • If beyond 1 year the experience is no longer available, the value of the experience can be used as Gifts Australia credit. Please contact us at info@giftsaustralia.com.au.
Experience vouchers purchased prior to 22nd January 2018 are valid for 1 year.
