Great guide who was extremely knowledgeable and just a bit fun and quirky. Great scenery with so much to see. We took the afternoon sunset experience.

Really enjoyed our 4:30pm sunset. Cruise during Kakadu bird week. Our guide, Greg ‘Gecko’ was ‘exceedingly’ (often used phase of his) knowledgeable about the area, habitat, animals and history. Made the journey interesting for us all with a few corny jokes thrown in too. Highlight was seeing a croc devour a barramundi on the bank of the river.

From our boat, we were taken right up to where crocodiles sunbaked and a multitude of birds congregated. We were privileged to see a pair of Jabirus/Black-necked Storks, along with Great and Minor Egrets, cormorants, ducks galore, herons, and many more that I can't name. The fields of white and blue water lilies were magnificent. The guide explained the Indigenous use for several plants along the way. Of course, there were many crocofiles of all sizes. Wild brumbies, water buffalo and a boar were pointed out to us. Make sure you take binoculars and have a camera with a telephoto lense if you are into serious picture taking. This trip is a must do if in the Kakadu area.

Thankyou so much.Up the crack of dawn and bused out to the river and loaded onto the 5 boats going out.Take mozie spray as they are out in force this time in the morning.Good boats and knowledgable staff. We saw lots of crocs, abundant bird life, wild brumbies, water buffalo and everything you expected to see.Really interesting and a true feel of what you expect in kakadu. We were even treated to a bonus free breakfast after the cruise.Buffet style

What a beautiful and relaxing way to start the day. Most spectacular sunrise over the billabong. Lots of wildlife. Great cruise commentated by a knowledgeable guide. Beautiful part of Australia.

From the moment we started on this tour we knew it was going to be a good day. Our guide was witty and professional with an excellent presentation to begin with. We saw an abundance of wildlife including wild brumby, buffalo, heaps of crocs, fish, birds and so much more. It was fabulous and loved cruising down the billabong! Saw a croc catch a fish and snap went the jaws - this was natural and-not forced feeding. So so good.

Beautiful relaxed guided tour. Plenty of wildlife, very lush and gorgeous setting. Boat turned round a lot so everyone could enjoy the scenery. Well worth it. Lovely sunset

While we stayed at Cooinda, we took advantage of going on a Yellow Water cruise. I had had friends who had recently done a cruise, and they were very impressed. We took the 9.00 am cruise which included being bused both ways. Our guide, a young woman in her first year with the company, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and obviously loved the environment in which she worked. She made the two hour cruise an absolute pleasure. We saw so many bird varieties, many were specific to the area and many I had never seen previously. She gave everyone plenty of time to take photos and to ask questions before moving on to another animal or plant. Her knowledge of the tree varieties , the water Lilly varieties , the weeds - both good and bad, and grasses and the palms was first rate. She told us lots of amusing anecdotes regarding some specific crocodiles, and the behaviour patterns of the crocodiles in both the wet and the dry seasons. I can not recommend this tour highly enough. It is an absolute must for anyone wanting to gain some insight in to how Kakadu’s wetlands function.

Sunset cruise was excellent. Plenty of bird life, buffalo, wallabies and of course the all important crocs (which we saw heaps of).

Seeing crocodiles in their natural inhabitants . Was a little bored with all the birds but then that could be a plus for others

Trevor_F June 2021

The knowledge of Mandy our tour guide, her love of her people and the funny stories told. The countless Crocs were a bonus.

We absolutely loved our cruise. Our guide, Lily, was terrific. We saw crocodiles, brumbies, water buffalo, and profusion of birds. The hour and a half went past incredibly quickly, we wish we could’ve stayed for longer! We were particularly lucky to see thousands and thousands of water lilies in flower. Absolutely stunning!

Ree_Views1 June 2021

This was our favourite Kakadu experience. We did the sunrise cruise with guide MJ. MJ was the highlight - so knowledgeable and passionate. We learnt so much and could have listened to him all day! He got us to the best view for the sunrise whilst also having mountains of bird life and crocs to look at. So worth getting up early for. We would highly recommend and would do again.

Laura_D June 2021

It was very lovely to see all the wildlife. We got to see how crocodiles catch fish. Heaps of birds and beautiful fields of water lilies. Even though it was really hot on the river with the sun beating down till we saw the fantastic sunset and the croc's feeding. Was worth it

Peter_H June 2021

Vicki_L June 2021

A magical experience especially at sunrise. The guide was excellent and we saw a lot of wildlife. The only con was we were staying at Jabiru and we had to drive 55kms to get to the start at Cooinda.

Susan_S June 2021

Probably the best tour I have ever been on in Australia or overseas. Simply sensational. Saw crocs, amazing birdlife, beautiful waterlilies, water buffalo and more.

JOANNE_R June 2021

What a wonderful experience. We saw an amazing amount of flora and fauna.. best of all was our last view of the sunset and in the foreground we had all the animals come together for the finale
