Our tour guide Carl was awesome. The area is beautiful! This tour was the perfect combination great tastings. I would recommend this tour!
Perfect and great value for money.
Very enjoyable day in the Yarra Valley. Excellent tour guide John. Great range of places visited. Highly recommended.
A great day out in the Yarra Valley led by the friendly and knowledgeable Simon Q. My partner and I took this tour as we were interested in more than just wine and it did not disappoint. We were lucky enough to sample not only some great wines but also ciders, beers, chocolate and strawberries which all were very tasty, and learn about the area. The only thing I could complain about was having to wake up so early but without doing so we wouldn't have had time to enjoy the valley! Would recommend.
Loved this tour and would recommend to anyone who enjoys great wine, spirits, beer, and gourmet food. Started off by visiting a lovely green house that grew capsicums peppers and strawberries. After touring the greenhouses, we sampled a lovely platter of fresh strawberries, local cheese, pepper jellies amd spreads, plus strawberry Port, liquer, and cream. Fantastic! Next stop was a Chocolate and Ice Ceam shop. Huge bowls of chocolate greeted us and the products available to purchase was vast. From there we went to a lovely winery situated on top of a hill with a lovely view of the vineyards below. To our great delight there were wild kangaroos in the fields and all of us loved to watch them bound about while we sampled some fine wine. Also had our lunch here with scrumptious jumbo porcini tortellini or wood fired thin crust pizza. Delicious! Our next stop was Napoleon Brewery with ice cold cider and superb cold beers. After that another lovely vineyard in the hills. What a wonderful day and would highly recommend to anyone.
Everyone who visits Melbourne has to take this tour. The scenery is beautiful and experience unforgettable.
Very enjoyable, laid back tour. Excellent tastings and a really good lunch with Adrian, the guide, excellent.
Great variety of food, cider and wine locations. Our guide Pete I think it was Pete was very funny and kept the group upbeat during the day.
Loved it :
Great way to see Melbourne's scenic wine region. Our tour guide David was funny, friendly and knowledgeable and made the day flow so smoothly. There is a range of different places to see including a cider Napoleone, a few vineyards, and the Chocolaterie prepare for a sugar hit so there is something to please everyone.
This a great tour with a variety of experiences, not just wine tasting. We were picked up from St Paul's Cathedral in the city and the 65 kms drive to the valley was good. We had 17 on our trip which was a good size. Unfortunately we were a week too late to see capsicums growing in the green house at Gateway Estates, but still had the opportunity to taste various relishes and cheeses.
Pete's jokes are something else but he was a great tour guide. Would highly recommend this tour.
Awesome tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide, plenty of good food and a good selection of wine, beer and cider.
I would recommend this tour to everyone who likes vine. It was an amazing experience to taste all different varieties of wines that is made in the region. The best thing was when we crashed the festive on one of the estate. If you want a relaxing tour this is it.
A great day tour. Our guide Leon was great, his commentary all day was very informative. The tour was varied, we saw how hydroponic capsicums and strawberries are grown and tasted wonderful local produce. Lunch and tasting at Rochford Winery was a highlight. Enjoyed a game of Pentonque at Dominique Perret, then went on to sample wonderful wines, apple cider and boutique beer, chocolate and ice cream and wood fired pizza. Great value for money and a fabulous day out. Would highly recommend this tour.
Great wineries, fabulous lunch and fun tour companions
Very good. Simon Q our tour guide was lovely and very informative.
What makes your trip more enjoyable? Your tour guide. Rob L. is the man. Always very polite and passionate from the way he introduced the farm and wineries, and so knowledgeable about the business. The lunch served at the winery was well prepared as expected I always enjoyed the food at winery, though I don't really know wine. In addition, snacking at farm, winery, and chocolaterie really made my day. :D And I bought some wines that are not common in the market.
Thoroughly enjoyable day. Peter, the driver and tour guide, very knowledgeable. will recommend to anyone. Great choice of destinations and enough time at each. Pick up and drop off at hotels good as well.
Safari pete was fantastic from the moment we met him we knew it was going to be a great day .
