We had tickets for a 3pm departure from King Street Wharf and were right on time when we left. We had booked for bottomless sparkling champagne and a seafood platter to accompany it. We were sat with a bottle of the champagne waiting for us and the food arrived a couple of minutes into the cruise. The food was delightful and plenty for 2 people to enjoy while taking in the views. We finished up our food and enjoyed a couple of glasses of champagne on the lower deck before heading up to the top deck to get some more sunshine and fresh air while we made the final stop before we departed in Circular Quay. Staff were super attentive and helpful and full of smiles which was great to see. Would definitely recommend and I’ll be looking for another reason to go again

We took the two day pass that included admission to the zoo. It was a great choice. We saw so much of the Bay and really got our bearings from that. It was very interesting and very relaxing so a great choice. Excellent value.

It was wonderful to see Sydney from the water. The first older gentleman did a great job of sharing history and background of the sites as we passed. We shortly got a different guide and he didn't share much which was disappointing.

We booked a hop on hop off ticket with Taronga Zoo entry. The number of Hoho trips is very limited and doesn’t sit with what you would want to do. For example if you chose to get off you msg have quite a wait fir the next ferry! By comparison the Sydney Ferries travel to distinct locations and back I.e. Manley. Having now experienced how the system works I believe you are better buying an Opel Travel Card, which lets you use the ferries, trams, trains and buses. You have to add a minimum $20 to the card and then you have the freedom and flexibility to do anything and everything. It Is a Tap on Tap off service with a ferry ride being about $6 but is dependant on how far you go.

Great 2 day pass of Sydney harbor. Made it easy to visit the Zoo, Watson bay and Manly beach . The staff were very helpful and engaging. Happy Birthday again Julie you are one year younger

Cruise offered a surprising number of destinations among Sydney Harbor's 67 bays. We got 2-day pass and were glad we did. Schedules were spot-on and the narrations varied enough from speaker to speaker that even sailing the same route was interesting.

Was a nice cruise around Sydney harbour, however we didn’t know that after a certain time you could only get off the boat at one stop. This was one of the furthest away from the starting point, so we basically had a cruise if the harbour. It also was not clear that the voucher was only good for the date on the voucher, so when we went to use it in day two of our stay we were told it was for the day before. They did allow us to use it, for the day after, which was good of them, but it would have been nice to know we had to use it on day one of our visit. Nice views of the harbour and opera house though, so it wasn’t a total loss.

Great way to see the Harbor! The boats were comfortable and mostly on schedule; the staff was courteous and helpful.

A convenient way to enjoy the scenic view of the harbor and visit the Zoo at a great deal too. Definitely, the best way to avoid the hassle and fast pace of the city.

Great transportation around the harbour if you’re short on time. The drop off is the same spot as the pick up. Crew was quick and friendly. They were very helpful in providing suggestions for your visit. The schedule handout was a bit confusing at first, but overall a good experience. Well worth it for two days of activities in Sydney.

We did the Sydney harbour “rocket” tour. It was a complete waste of money. You can get exactly the same trip on normal ferries for a fraction of the cost. The commentary was bland and uninteresting. The tour guide just tells you the name of places and not much more. She made in jokes about Sydney which a lot of people wouldn’t understand and stereotypical comments about Australians (we drink a lot of beer and don’t like kiwis). Don’t waste your money.

This was a great way to see the Sydney Harbor and get to see many areas we might not have seen. Amazing views of the entire skyline, Two best stops for us were Manley Bay and Darling harbor.

The harbor sites were great and the boats were comfortable. Major complaint is that the schedules for the various stops are confusing and limited. Some tours omit one or more of the stops, and it requires considerable study and planning to know where one will actually be able to get on and off.

This 2 hr cruise several stops and Ron narrated what we were seeing along the way. Ron (the docent) was retired and said "I do this because I want to and not because I have to". Great views of bridge, opera house, stop for the zoo, etc.

John_B February 2020

Good way to have availability to a lot of places quickly. Enjoyed some stops more than others, but overall a good value

A great way to see the harbor and all the coves and bays. We went to Manly and walked two blocks to the beach to see the surfers. The second day we took the ferry to the Toranga Zoo and spent several hours enjoying the animals, especially the Australian ones. The ferries were a great way to inexpensively get from here to there and all points in between!

Great way to see Sydney from the ocean. Cruise departed and arrived on tine. Clean boat. Professional crew.

My wife and I were visiting Sydney for a few days. Instead of trying to figure out all the OPAL ferry schedules we decided to purchase the HOHO ferry, which includes all the usual tourist destinations in the harbor. The tickets were good for two calendar days and enabled unlimited travel around the harbor. The ferries are clean and we'll run. And, the price is very reasonable from a value perspective.

Everything was good till the last pickup from the the Darling Harbor. The employee on the last boat gave us incorrect information that there was another boat coming. The store front of the company at the harbor were also of no help and promptly closed the store at 5, leaving us stranded at the harbor. The good thing was that the metro was within walking distance and so we could get back to our hotel without having to take an expensive taxi.

We wanted to explore Sydney and we were recommended to take the Captain Cook Hop-on-Hop-off Cruise and we were not disappointed. Purchased the tickets through Trip Advisor at a better price. We went to the Circular Quay and got the actual tickets once purchased on line and took the cruise to Manly Beach. Lots of great stores to shop and bought lots of tshirts etc and the beach was spectacular. We then went to Watson Bay for fish and chips at Doyles. If you want to spend $50 for F&C go to the restaurant but otherwise you can get the same for much less at the take out place and just find a seat. Not much there but if you walk around there are some stunning views. When we took off from Circular Quay we had a great view of the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. There were more places to go and we ended up at Darling Harbour Pier. Well worth the cost and the smoke wasn’t bad at all that day.

Michael_W January 2020

Very upset the boat trip was canceled due to smoke and we got stuck at the opera house and had to walk back to darling harbour with the dad who is 71 year’s of age. When we arrived in darling harbour we went to Thomas cook who offered no refund

manderson2020 January 2020

Great views of the city and enjoyable rides to Luna Park and Manly Beach. I liked having the flexibility to use this over two days. The one thing that would make this better is if it ran later into the evening. Make sure to check the timetables!

I have arrived in Sidney in the early morning hours and brought my luggage to my hotel. After breakfast I went on the hop on hop off ferry. It was such an easy way to visit all that Sidney had to offer via water. Perfect picture set up of Opera House. I bought 2 day pass and it was a perfect way to see all I wanted to see and easy to use. Restaurants by the water are amazing and they employ the nicest staff. If you want to see the beautiful sunset... please make sure you don’t miss a last ferry, but if you do... there is one public ferry that can bring you back to one of the stops back to Sidney. Traveling solo I felt safe at all times, on and off the ferry. I highly recommend this experience.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.
