There were 7 in our group and we all loved it! John Paul our tour guide was excellent and the chocolate factory is a must especially if you have children. The penguin experience is incredible! All of a sudden, hundreds of penguins show up on the beach and march to their homes. It's an hour of being in awe. It is cold so bring warm clothes.

Great tour. Some very good stops on the way to Phillip island. Amazing coastal views, Wildlife sanctuary was good Seeing the wallabies in the wild was so cool. The March of the penguins was something to see. Our tour guide Kurt was also awesome. Very informative, and funny. He really helped make the trip even more enjoyable.

The penguin parade was very good, it's great seeing them come in off the beach. One thing to be aware of is you can't take any photos. The rest of the tour was ok, we stopped off in what was basically a deserted town for lunch, the wildlife sanctuary was enjoyable. But it felt like the tour could be condensed into 4 hours rather than the 12 as the rest of the stop offs seemed pointless

Driver tour guide JP was excellent. Too bad we had bit of late start, not sure why some people cannot show up on time at pickup location. Comfortable vehicle and drive down to region. Park experience with Koalas and roos lots of fun as was visit to Nobbies. The Antarctic experience done in conjunction with WWF was well done, esp the screen with all the animals showing up in pictures with you! The Penguin experience was one of the highlights of our trip to Australia and rangers were great. Too bad some people do not understand the no photography rule when most people are complying. The march of the penguins up the beach past the viewing platform was amazing.

JB, our very able guide, took us on a wonderful journey to the Maru animal sanctuary. We fed the Roos, and emus, saw the tassi devils among other Aussie critters. We then drove to Phillip Island finding the fairy penguin burrows in the hillsides. The fairy chicks were coming out of their homes looking for their dinner and parents. As darkness arrived, the parents began their daily walk from the sea to feed the chicks. Hundreds of them marched by the platform as we watched in awe. JB told us exactly where to stand to get the best view of the penguins. So tiny. We were within two feet of them! For all to remember, there is NO LIVE PHOTOGRAPHY THERE!!! A flash from a camera will blind the penguins making them unable to search for food at sea, hide from predators above ground or at sea. JB did a great job getting us back to our hotels on such a late nite. You will be treated to a wonderful day visiting Phillip Island with JB as your terrific guide. Thx JB! New Jersey!!

Really recommend this 12 hour trip. Has everything you need to know Phillip Island plus the fabulous Maru wildlife experience. You get in contact with the animals easy and naturally. Do not recommend paying for the koala experience. There are many koalas to watch very close and standing by and touching the animal, I believe it is no worth it. But it is an individual choice. The tour was great and the guide, do not remember his name, was yesterday thursday 16, also very good.

I booked this tour as a solo traveller and it did not disappoint. Our guide Shannara was fantastic and upbeat. She made sure that we got the most out of our day and armed us with tips and tricks that we needed to know. I would definitely recommend for people to try this tour if you love wildlife.

Tour was a wonderful way to end my stay in Australia. The animal park was terrific, beach walk lovely, and penguins up close and personal. Daniel was a great guide; loved his sense of humor.

Terry_C November 2019

Nicely paced, well guided, and friendly driver. The bus was quite uncomfortable. We enjoyed the variety of stops and being able to book at the last minute.

inge-1955 October 2019

A wonderful trip. We saw many animals, in a park and in the wild. Tour guide Troy was informative, pointed out sights and gave good advice.

Nora D October 2019

The main attraction is seeing the penguins just after sunset. The visit to Maru was also enjoyable. Our guide JP was very nice and attentive to the needs of the group. I like that the company supports protecting wildlife and the environment. I thought I’d read in the tour description that we would visit the town or Cowes. I would have much preferred that to the chocolate factory tour or the windy beach.

I did the Phillip Island & Koala Highlights tour and I had so much fun! Our tour guide JP was really good knowledged and made the best out of our day :) The koalas & the tiny tiny penguins have really been a highlight on my travels and I never felt rushed on the tour. So I would always book another tour with Autopia!

Ron F July 2019

All that was promised and more. The stop at Maru Koala & Animal Park was a great place to get up close with Koalas, Kangaroos, Wallabies, and other Australian wildlife. Cape Woolamai provided a chance to walk along the beach and watch surfers, the Nobbies were rugged, scenic, and an opportunity to see fur seals, and finally the Penguin Parade, a must see. Our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Autopia is definitely the Tour Company to use Victoria.

Love the schedule and everything is nice ,also the tour guide is really friendly. The penguins and they kangaroos are adorable. 導遊人很好,旅途非常的輕鬆愉快。時間也調配的剛剛好,非常推薦給喜愛動物的人。小企鵝跟袋鼠都很可愛!請記得去看企鵝時不可以拍照,給企鵝一個良好的棲息地。

I've had really great time today. Penguins Koalas and my favorite kangaroos... This is well-thought out plan and I appreciate Duane's super kindness. Thanks a lot!

Bruin76 May 2019

We very much looked forward to this tour. Originally we were told that hotel pick up was included. We were then told to walk a few blocks to a museum for pick up. Then we were told to walk a few blocks in the other direction to meet at a church. That would have been okay, had it not been pouring rain and the driver was a half hour late, leaving us out in the cold. They had our phone number and email and could have updated us. We had to call them multiple times to check on where the driver was. He showed up with no apology, ironically after driving right past our hotel, where he was supposed to pick us up. One of the stops on the itinerary was to a Wildlife preserve. It was supposed to include a light lunch. In fact the confirmation email from Autopia Tours asked whether we had dietary requirements. We were never told that they no longer provided lunch so we were forced to eat at the wildlife stop. The menu was not inexpensive, and the two smallest items cost us $33. We ultimately made a long distance call from New Zealand to the US to inquire why this was the case and Viator, the TripAdvisor partner, and seller of the trip said that lunch was no longer included. We had purchased and paid for the tour in January. Our printouts show both hotel pickup and lunch are included. There were multiple correspondences with Autopia Tours, when they continued to change the meeting spots, and at any point they could have told us of the change. The Viator operator made two phone calls to Autopia and they would only reimburse us $10 each. There was no light lunch for $10 so this was no more than selling me one product and delivering a less, unsatisfactory replacement. Viator refused to take responsibility saying that Autopia changed their offer. I take the position that I purchased the tour from Viator and that they should have honored the lunch or reimbursed a respectable amount, since I paid Viator for the lunch and I paid the Wildlife preserve for the lunch. Why would I ever do business with thieves again? PS: The Penguins were adorable.

lowen_vita May 2018

A well planned tour. I widened my horizons with cute animals and excellent scenery. Tour guide was informative.

Yu Juan L March 2018

Charlie from Autopia was a fantastic guide. His guided tour was very personalized. He remembered all the names of the tourists in his bus. His commentary was very clear and detailed throughout the trip. If you need a guide from Autopia, ask for him, Charlie, the musician. -YJ (from Singapore)

Amazing day , just perfect. finalizing with such lovely creatures. a little bit more time with the penguins, would nevertheless had been desired

MichaelE_K February 2017

Had a great tour director! Upgrade to better Penguin seating was well worth it. Survived easily a random vehicle safety stop.

Lorraine F August 2017

Nathalie D January 2017
