Learnt a lot about Melbourne on the walking tour, including the top sites for eating and the infamous Ned Kelly !
Hugo, our guide was fantastic. He asked us what we wanted to see as we had been on a morNing tour with our group. We told him where we had been and he walked us through uniques areas and into building we never would have know about. His knowledge of ithe history of Melbourne was so interesting and informaribeyuhuh .
We were very lucky to be on the private tour with only 2 other couples and to get Will. He was relaxed, informative and funny and this proved to be an excellent 3 hour experience.
This is a brilliant way to get to know some of the hidden gems in Melbourne and to orient oneself in the city - do this early in your stay and use the experience to inform where you may wish to revisit.
Great tour. We had a great guide. Very friendly and knowledgeable. Showed us parts of Melbourne CBD that the average tourists would not know about.
Bridget was a great tour guide. She was passionate about her city and really captured the feeling of Melbourne. I highly recommend this tour. We were feeling a little overwhelmed with where to start in the city but the tour was just perfect to get your bearings and learn all about the history and art
Our tour guide Bow was amazing - very knowledgeable and passionate about Melbourne. Pickup place was very easy to find. Unlike the free tour (which can be very crowded), we were a very small group, literally, just the two of us. The tour included historical places, street art, secret eating and drinking places (which only a Melbournian would know), and many more, all was great fun. We also got a superb Colombian coffee and a boutique beer as a part of the service. Later we used some of the advice from Bow, and greatly enjoyed the rest of our stay in Melbourne. This tour made our stay in Melbourne super special, thanks Bow!
Very friendly and knowledgeable guide who took us to the most popular places including giving a lots of recommendations for food and drinks. Highly recommend!
We as a family went to this tour with little expectations as we thought we had experienced most of Melbourne and went on this tour to see all the little things we missed, or so we thought. Our tour guide Sara opened a whole new world to us and opened our eyes to details we overlooked. From laneways filled with beautiful street art to exciting and captivating stories about this truly amazing city. Highly reccommend it, a true eye opener and overall an amazing experience. Thank you Sara.
Very informative. Our guide was lovely, answered all questions, did not rush, gave recommendations.
Teuly enjoywd our walk.
Our tour was so informative. Hugo our tour guide really knew his history. we arrived on the Friday and took the tour Friday afternoon. to get our bearings. What a great way to see the sights.
This tour was very informative and fun. we took the tour our first afternoon in town and it set us up for tour time in Melbourne. We learned how to navigate the city, we learned some of Melbourne's history, as well as what makes Melbourne tick today. We walked away with a list of potential things to do while in town in addition to those already identified prior to coming. will was a great guide, very informative and adapted the tour to the interest of those on the tour. I would highly recommend this tour.
My husband and I took this tour with Lucy and she was phenomenal! Not only was she knowledgeable about the history and historical buildings around Melbourne, she was exceptionally knowledgeable about Melbourne's street art and how the alley/lane system works. If you want to learn how to navigate the city early in your stay (as well as have an excellent flat white), this is the tour for you. You will not regret it!
The walk was very nice, enjoyable and informative. The guide host was a great storyteller and in a fun way too. The coffee was great.
Loved the tour, the city is amazing and our guide was so nice and funny. Really enjoyed it!
I just wish it would last longer :o)
Kimmie was an awesome guide, full of history and Melbourne knowledge. We really loved this tour and used it as a guide for exploring the central business district (CBD).
Tristan was a very good tour guide. Pleasant, knowledgeable, and easy to follow. Went through a good variety of neighborhoods within CBD. Got a nice feel if city history and culture. You pay at the end based on your personal preference and experience. Highly recommended!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It was a great way see some of the back streets and learn about the history of Melbourne.
Not much substance, difficult to hear (one guide, busy streets with much noise), interesting stories and graffiti throughout alleys, no need to spend time stopping at start of tour for coffee.
