John was an absolutely gorgeous guide, he was full of knowledge and facts and fun. He engaged with everyone in the group, we covered lots of ground and it was an afternoon well spent.

Lucky to have a small group of only 3 today with John as our tour guide. What a wealth of knowledge he had about Melbourne. All the places he took us too were fantastic and for 2 of us who have lived here all our lives we have learnt heaps. Would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see and learn about the history of Melbourne. The coffee and glass of wine were an added bonus.

Just did this amazing 3 hour tour with John as our guide which was just fantastic. I have lived in Melbourne all my life and learnt so much more. Coffee and beer stops included. Great value and I highly recommend. John was a fantastic guide and host. Loved every minute even though it rained was no issues as Melbourne offers much shelter on the walk. Melburnians get on board to learn about our amazing city.

Guys, If you are in a hunt of discovering Melbourne, don’t go further ! Give it a go you won’t be disappointed ! Marc our guide was amazing. A lot of stories , culture history in a fun way. We are French and new in Australia. Thanks to Marc we learned a lot wether it is on Ned Kelly, aboriginal roots.... or on the gold rush. It was awesome thank you so much

Aamir, my tour guide was awesome. He was funny, engaging, and real. Thanks to him I got an authentic lesson on the history of Melbourne, not a shiny, glossy one. The tour itself was the perfect length of time and a really great way to see some major points. Plus we did some fun things along the way like stop to take pictures and grab a beer at a famous pub. The best thing I did during my time in Melbourne.

Although I have lived in Melbourne for 6 years and I work in the city I didn’t know much about the history of Melbourne or stories of the lane ways and buildings. We had a great afternoon with our guide Hugo who shared his knowledge with us and top tips. It was super to see the city bustling with life again after a long lockdown. I highly recommend doing a tour - for locals and visitors alike - to appreciate our great city and support our local businesses like Depot Adventures.

Had a really great tour. Saw a lot ,heard a lot, and have a list of other adventures now on my to do list. By now I thought I would be booking my next tour. Unfortunately the virus is in my way, but I will definitely book another tour as so as possible.

My husband and I had a delightful time with our guide, Hugo. We were the only ones on the tour, so we had a wonderful private tour. Hugo was very attentive, informative, and fun. This is a terrific way to learn about and explore Melbourne, and it was a good starting-off point for us and helped us feel more comfortable knowing our way around the city so that we can explore more on our own. We even got in our 10,000 steps for the day! We would highly recommend this tour and we thoroughly enjoyed our guide, Hugo.

Normally this would be a group activity, but due to the crazy times we are living in at the moment...... I hit the jackpot and had a private tour. Lucky me :-) My guide John, was fabulous..tailoring the tour to my interests on this occasion. I am an amateur photographer that also loves art, architecture, interiors and street art. The time flew by as we wandered through the various laneways decorated by many layers of graffiti art, had a sneak peek into the bars and restaurants setting up for lunch or talked to the local business people about how their business were being affected. A coffee at John's favourite cafe @junglejuicemelbourne to soak up the atmosphere of Centre Place then we were on our way again. Now I may sound like a tourist, but I was bought up in a Melbourne suburb and worked my first job in Block Arcade. This for me was a walk down memory lane and a way to see one of my favourite cities in the world through a local who is passionate about the city he has chosen to call home.

Learnt a lot about Melbourne on the walking tour, including the top sites for eating and the infamous Ned Kelly !

Stephen_L March 2020

I also want to add how pleasant Hugo was and how much my husband and I really enjoyed being guided around beautiful Melbourne.

Stephen_L March 2020

Hugo, our guide was fantastic. He asked us what we wanted to see as we had been on a morNing tour with our group. We told him where we had been and he walked us through uniques areas and into building we never would have know about. His knowledge of ithe history of Melbourne was so interesting and informaribeyuhuh .

JenSo0f0S March 2020

Caitlyn was a really friendly and helpful tour guide. Lots of local knowledge as well as being able to point out the tourist spots we may want to visit. She filled us in on the history of the city, without it being to Eurocentric. She was also able to tailor the tour to the requirements and interests of the group. Hugo was also friendly and helpful when registering us for the tour. Would highly recommend. We'll worth the money.

Excellent- Our guide Kevin was hugely interesting and enthusiastic about his adopted city and took us to places off the beaten track where we would not have visited on our own

msjanegr March 2020

Having just arrived in Melbourne, this was a great way to be introduced to the city. It wasn’t in depth, but it wasn’t supposed to just gave us lots of ideas on things we would explore further. Our guide, Amir, was knowledgeable and fun. He had stories about everyplace we went, and he clearly was familiar with all aspects of the city. It was a good experience and a great start to our visit.

R8332YBdeem March 2020

Enjoyable and informative. Kevin our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. It was nice to have a small group size and the others in the group were good fun.

Lau_diez March 2020

Did the free walking tour with Hugo and it was fantastic! He was super nice and fun and the tour itself goes through very nice areas of the city!! Definitely a must do to start your experience in Melbourne get your whereabouts!

kathysH5639EY March 2020

Really enjoyed our tour with Aamir today. He was very knowledgeable and gave us a great understanding of the city and its history. Pace of the tour was good and there was time to get to know new people - great way to spend the afternoon!

Michael G March 2020

Hugo was a great guide for our walk around Melbourne. We got a really good overview of the the downtown square and lots of secret tips on where to go. In the end we even discovered people we knew in common. Small world

Maryrosa1989 March 2020

Kevin was knowledgeable, fun and informative about Melbourne and surrounding areas. Our tour was approximately three hours and we visit Federation Square, Flinders Street station and graffiti, St Paul's Cathedral, Burke and Collins Street, RMTI gallery, City Museum of Old Treasury. We enjoyed this tour, thank you for having us.

knowwhatyoudontknow March 2020

Our guide, Beau, was very good. Good communicator, fun to be with and knowledge and passion for his city. Includes Melbourne’s growth to the richest city in the world and consummate growth in the 1800’s, street art and the laneways, fiddlers train station, Federation Square, the Arcades, the story of Ned Kelly and more. All weaved into a great story telling.

Glenn_C March 2020

We were very lucky to be on the private tour with only 2 other couples and to get Will. He was relaxed, informative and funny and this proved to be an excellent 3 hour experience. This is a brilliant way to get to know some of the hidden gems in Melbourne and to orient oneself in the city - do this early in your stay and use the experience to inform where you may wish to revisit.

Tauro123456 March 2020

Aahir is such a nice and funny guide. You´ll learn with him about Melbourne history and some curiosities. I recommended it!
