Great Tour Guide on Phillip Island, we had the exciting experiences and a very good time. Seafood pizza is very taste
We had Glenn on the penguins parade and he was amazing. We had Kellie on the great ocean rd tour. Did not enjoy the tour, not her fault, because of the heat and swarms of flies. Long day and anxious to get back.
Terry is the best tour guide!
This trip is super valuable and Terry was guiding us to the best place to take photos and where to find the penguins!
100% definitely recommend this trip to get the most out of the Melbourne area! Was sooo cool to see the Great Ocean Road and Twelve Apostles then to go to Phillip Island. Was awesome stopping at the Wildlife Sanctuary along the way.
Arrangement is great, tour guide is friendly, drives fast and safely.
Two attraction tickets is also awesome.
Highly recomment this tour.
Amazing views and excellent tour guides ( Chris and Courtney with Bunyip tours). The koala encounter and kangaroo feeding was fun and the Penguins are so tiny and so cute! Viewing the sunset on The Great Ocean Road is so fantastic! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed both trips. Thank you!
Both tours and our guides were amazing. The 12 Apostles and the Ocean drive was great. But what we loved the most was all the Australian animals we got to see like Koalas, Walabees and of not to forget the penguins.
Tour guides for both tours were terrific. I have enjoyed this tour and definitely worth going with Viator.
Thanks Steve and Bear (Chris) for friendly, humorous and informative guided tours of the Great Ocean Road and Phillip Island! The Great Ocean Road tour is a really long road trip but with gorgeous breathtaking views of the coastline. The highlight of the Phillip Island tour was certainly the last stop at Penguin Parade where we waited in the cold windy night for the little penguins to emerge from the sea and head to their burrows inland. [make sure you’re well-covered to keep warm including maybe a muffler!] Bear/Chris - thanks for the briefing on safety in the vehicle and what tourists shouldn’t be doing (treading on the burrow-filled hills; why we shouldn’t photograph the penguins etc) - it was a very informative overall tour on Australian wildlife! Encouraged by your briefing earlier, I helped stopped a tourist for using flash photography on the poor little penguins. Great tips for getting up close to the penguins too! Even managed to catch penguins mating in the open as a result! Lol! Hahaha! Hat-tip and kudos to Bear/Chris for quick action on our vehicle that had a leak midway and quickly getting a replacement vehicle for a smooth bus changeover without affecting our tour schedule. Three cheers for Bunyip!
It was really interesting and also the price is very good. The small group was really comfortable and we visited everthing what it can be do in that 2 days and also the 2 tickets, Eureka Skydeck and Sea Life are perfect.
These tours were excellent. Kurt was our tour guide for the penguins and Chris for the Twelve Apostles. Lots of information was provided with music breaks in between on our small buses. One was for around 28-30 and the other 24. Both lunches were tasty and timely. Ample restroom stops made. We bought the underground viewing for the penguins tour and enjoyed seeing them up close. No sounds came underground but what a chorus of calls when we came up from the penguins
After you had purchase this package, the bun yip tour will sent email to you to double confirm the date you wish to attend for Philips island. The free Melbourne attraction pass you may either collect it on their local office or on the first day of great ocean road trip. The tour guide is very informative, the view along the road trip is great for great ocean road. Throughout the tour before to the main spot, the tour will also stop by a lot of stopover for you to enjoy the scenery. If you are visiting Melbourne, this package is definitely a most commercial and economic choices you have. Everything goes smoothly and i enjoy it throughout the journey. Thanks Viator, a reliable day tour provider.
We enjoyed this trip to the Great Ocean Road. There is a lot of traveling in the coach because of the distance. The scenery is rugged and beautiful. We stopped and seen Koalas in the wild. The driver was on the lookout all the time and if he could he would stop if he seen anything. We seen an Echidna at the side of the Road. The driver was very knowledgeable and friendly.
We enjoyed Phillip Island. The farm was great with the displays. I would have liked a little more time to look around the house too. The scenery was beautiful. It was good to go on the board walks to try and see the penguins . The setting and scenery was fantastic. The penguins were adorable. It was amazing to see them all come in from the sea and return to there young. I could not stop watching them. The driver again was very knowledgeable and friendly. Because I booked two tours together we also got free Aquarium and Skydeck tickets which we appreciated and really enjoyed. Thank you
The great ocean road day trip was a very long day. The coast is beautiful but if youve been up the California coast its about the same. Lots of stops along the way for pictures. Really enjoyed the twelve apostles and the story behind them. The bus was not the most comfortable for the long trip
The day spent with Chris H, aka bear was fantastic. He is a great tour guide. Throughly enjoyed this tour. Watching the penguins was so fun. We did the ranger guided tour which was worth the extra cost as they provided binoculars and headsets for the tour. With the ranger you got a more detailed explanation of the penguins trip back to the beach. The day was long but so worth it. We also went to an animal conservatory and got to have our pictures taken with a koala.
One suggestion is all your guides should follow Chriss example in ensuring everyone is back on the bus in time. No one wanted to wear the donkey hat. Wish he had been on the ocean road tour as we had to wait three times for different groups to get back to the bus.
A long day but well worth it. The twelve apostles is a spectacular sight and the penguin parade is a must see. I would recommend taking the private guided walk at the penguin parade. We got very close to the activity and our guide was extremely informative. We were provided with binoculars and headsets.
It's my first time coming to Melbourne and this package provides great tours and information. The Tour guide and Driver for our Great Ocean Road is Fiona and she is very professional and knowledgeable. The scenary is good and we got to take a few stop for photographs. Enjoyed lunch at the Cape Lighthouse with great view. The tour to Phillip Island is excellant! We got to stop by Conservatory and Koala Park to see the Wallabies and Koalas on our way. The Little penguins are adorable and worth the hours wait for them to return home after sunset. Regarding to the Attraction Pass, I picked the Sealife Aquarium and Eureka 88 Skydeck. The Sealife Aquarium is fun even for adults. I was amazed by the Mega Croc, the King penguin, the Geetoo penguin and the huge Stingray. I love the ease to move from one area to another with the Indoor map. The aqaurium provides you with Station Numbers that you just need to follow and you will finish walking the entire acquarium in about 2-3 hours. A great place for tourists and family and kids to visit. The Eureka 88 skydeck has 360 degree view of the Melbourne city. It's very nice to view the city from above. You can see different architechtures and feel the vibrant and moderness of the city and at the same time, the history aspect of it. I love all the tours and attractions and highly recommended for first-time visitor to Melbourne.
The Melbourne Super Saver pass is terrific value. Our tour guide Thursday Jan. 18, pretty sure named Rob to Phillip Island, Moonlit Sanctuary, Churchill Island and the Koala Conservation Centre was terrific. Moonlit provided the best possible close up experience with a Koala, a highlight of highlights and more than well worth the extra fee to pet and take numerous photos. Phillip Island is a must see and incredible experience. We paid for the V.I.P. Upgraded tickets, but not needed to have great visibility to the penguins for anyone on a budget. Our terrific tour guide Rob went out of his way to make sure our special needs daughter enjoyed everything about the day. He even arranged for her to pet a working sheep dog and fed a Clydesdale horse while on Churchill Island. On tour guide Fiona on January 21 to Great Ocean Road was also an outstanding professional and made the long day as enjoyable and informative as possible. Even though the day included rain and was mostly overcast, the Great Ocean Road is a must see tour and Fiona made it special. One suggestion to Bunyip Tours who managed both excursions, please upgrade your tour buses. I would have happily paid significantly more for this package with more comfortable buses. Lastly, make sure to use your bonus Melbourne Attraction Passes. The Eureka Sky Tower is wonderful experience and my family enjoyed the Aquarium passes while I was spent another day at the Australia Open Tennis tournament.
It was much better than i expected
Picked up on the corner near our hotel. Long day, but so worth it. The guide gave an amusing informed commentary throughout. With some great stops and sights Highly recommended.
we lived this tour. we all had a great time. saw some amazing views. the company were professional and helpful. would recommend.
Would recommend this trip to anyone visiting Melbourne!
Great Ocean Road - this does involve a lot of travel, but is more than worth it for the stunning coastline. We were also taken to see some Koalas in the wild! Our tour guide Dale was excellent and provided us with recommendations on dinner options on our return to the city.
Penguin parade - the visit included a visit to the Moonlit sanctuary - offering the chance to see lots of Australian wildlife close up including kangaroos, Churchill farm and a koala sanctuary. No words really do justice for the penguin parade - you just need to see it. Again we had an excellent knowledgeable guide in Chris.
Really appreciated the complimentary hotel collection and drop off.
Amazing and informative guide.
Excellent trip- guides were very professional and caring for the comfort and safety of the passengers. They were knowledgeable and shared a lot about the history and stories about the places visited. Highly recommended!
wonderful and worth.
