My daughter and I had a great day on this tour. We but Im were blessed with perfect weather but I'm sure they could work things around if need be. We were able to arrange a collection point on route which was just so convenient for us. Steve was able to cater for the various levels of ability of our group which was mkuch appreciated. The tour encompassed a bit of everything. We went to places I had never thought to go even though I am from Adelaide which has piqued or interest in going back on our own. The lunch spot was fabulous. I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Great day out, laid back, someone else did the planning which allowed you to sit back and enjoy the day without the logistics

Great day out with lots of laughs. Ian and Deborah were great hosts and I would highly recommend this day out whether you are a keen cyclist or not.

We cycled in rain, hail and sun- and it was all fabulous fun. I highly recommend this experience, even if my credit card it a bit exhausted from wine orders.

Lovely day out exploring an area I hadn't seen much of by bike. Steve was a fantastic tour leader. Can recommend doing a bit of riding beforehand if you haven't done much lately.

Fantastic professional mountain bike tourism business run by Ian and his wife. Excellent day in Onkaparinga gorge / Belair Nat Park and back roads of McLaren vale. We explored some boutique and unique wineries at Gemtree and Kangarilla rd as well as a cleaning ale at Goodisons brewery in McLaren flat. Easy riding, mostly flat and downhill on excellent mountain bikes. All gear supplied as well as an excellent platter lunch at Gemtree wines. They do pick up and drop off included..

Fantastic experience and couldn't be more impressed with tour guide Ian. Beautiful wineries and great fun on the bikes! Ian was really accommodating as was everyone at the wineries we attended. A perfect way to explore the McLaren Vale.

A high calibre, well organised and relaxing bike tour. Ian and his assistant Steve went out of their way to accommodate everyone’s skill level and age group that was especially evident for the mountain track ride through a magnificent section of the Onkaparinga Gorge. Especially appreciated was the inclusion of local high-quality businesses within the tour: the wine tasting and magnificent platter lunch at Gemtree Wines and the additional wine tasting at Kangarilla Road Wines. A personalised small group tour through areas only doable with quality bikes made for the task. Highly recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our mountain bike ride with Ian - on fire trails and single tracks - stopping in at Gemtree winery for a delicious lunch. Thanks for a fun day Ian!

New to the city & first time experiencing the wineries Adelaide has to offer - this cycling tour was the perfect way to do it. Our booking was made last minute and this was facilitated easily & professionally by Ian who was our guide for the day also. He provided a thoroughly enjoyable day for everyone of all abilities and he was extremely helpful, especially when my tire punctured... twice! Great chat, great wine and a memorable day - will be back again for more Escapegoat experiences!

Our excellent guide Ian ensured everyone enjoyed the trip. The day started with an easy cruisy ride in Kuipto Forest. We then went to the famous MacLaren Vale and visited two famous cellar doors. Biking through the scenic vineyards is certainly the best way to experience the wine region.

First time doing a wine and bike tour. It was an amazing experience and worth every minute. The bike ride was easy and the scenery was beautiful. The wineries and microbrewery we visited had amazing wines and beers. 5 star experience for sure.

Had a brilliant Mountain Bike experience with Lee. He is very experienced and knew the best tracks. Especially the downhill ride was very good. Some nice wineries and especially the last stop, the brewery was very welcoming. A nice experience and very well recommended.

Lots of fun. The riding is beautiful and the selected wineries take care of you well. The tour also provides opportunities to choose what to do and where to go at some points - very dynamic.

This tour was the highlight of my trip!! Fabulous way to explore the McLaren Vale region. Ian is very knowledgeable, professional and super friendly. We had to move thr tour by day due to the heat wave and bush fires; Ian was very prompt with comms, very responsive and made it super stress free to move it around :)

Fantastic day cycling ! So much variation with tracks meandering through the Kuitpo forest. Up & down hills, over creek beds & through canopies of trees. Add McLaren Vale winery & brewery visits with an amazing lunch at an organic, biodynamic winery. Our guide Ian, was very knowledgeable & supplied quality ebikes and equipment. It was important to Ian that he tailored the tour to our requirements hence the communication prior was forthcoming. We highly recommend Escapegoat mountain bike tours.

Thanks so much to Lee, our guide and Ian for being so patient while we navigated border closures. We used the E bikes and normal mountain bikes and had a wonderful day. Hugo Winery put on a lovely share platter and we enjoyed all the wines we tasted along the way. Would highly recommend

We had an awesome day with great company - thank you to our guide Lee for a fun day and all the knowledge he shared. Great choice of wineries, brewery & coffee/cake/chocolate to top it off at the end.

We had a fabulous day on the bike tour in McLaren Vale. Our guide Leigh was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, funny, and a great guide. Our first ride though the woods and field was a great warmup. The ride down the mountain with the view over the valley was exhilarating, lunch at the first winery very tasty, the second winery was even better, the beer at the brewery very refreshing, and the coffee and chocolate at the end topped it all off perfectly. I cannot imagine a way to spend a better day in the Adelaide area.

Excellent bike tour. Bikes were a great quality., lots of downllhill on the trip. Ian our fantastic guide gave us an option to cycle through a national park at the start, which we did. Was amazing. Ian always made sure we were safe and going at a speed which suited the group. Very easy ride and suitable for all abilities. Would highly recommend to everyone of all ages and abilities. Treat yourself to great day out.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxed bike tour, with great flexibility on what to do. Lee was our tour guide for the day. The lunch at the Gemtree Winery was fabulous with unbeatable views and wine. Mentioned that it would be great to see some koalas, and Lee made that happen. As it was Valentines day, it was great to end the tour with chocolates and coffee. A great feature of this tour was the wine tastings and that any wines purchased will get picked up by the van before the tour ends. No need to carry the wines while riding.
