Stress free and air conditioned way of getting to Litchfield national park. Very informative tour guide, enough comfort stops, beautiful falls. Worth the money.

Juan Luis P March 2020

Amazing tour with Dan. He knew a lot of the local history, talked about aboriginal people, politics, economy and WW II.

Svetlana D December 2019

Niall B November 2019

I had a day in Darwin and, after a bit of hesitation, booked the Litchfield National Park Day Tour at the very last minute (only four hours or so before departure). However, the coach picked me up from my hotel exactly as arranged.

I must confess that I'm not normally a coach trip kind of person, but this one could not have been more perfect. Fortunately the coach was less than half full (c.20 people) and this helped make the trip - I'm not sure I'd have enjoyed it quite as much at fully capacity (c.60 people). The driver/tour guide was welcoming, humorous and knowledgeable and gave us so much information as we drove round - stuff that I'd always have been far too lazy to read up on myself. Every place we visited was brilliant - amazing waterfalls to swim in and termite mounds that blew my mind! - but this was helped by the fact that all these places were empty (mid-November) - I'm not sure I'd be quite so keen to be there during high season, with a huge number of other coaches there. We were actually the only coach at each of the places visited; I imagine that they're inundated with droves of people at other times.

Would highly recommend this tour - but choose your dates carefully!

Tremendous and spectacular day out with unmissable highlights. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and approachable

Well worth the trip.
I would like to know the outcome of the crocodile hunt at Wangi Falls. Did the croc survive?
I did not see the possibility of swimming while I was making the booking on your web site.

The driver/guide was knowledgeable and humorous, I would not hesitate to ride wit hom again.

The tour is a must do and you need to experience the natural pools. Unforgettable experience swimming there. Comfortable bus and a high professional guide.

Laurie Y July 2018

This tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. I was fascinated by the different termite mounds to be honest, this was a must-see for me sciencenerd, and the two main waterfalls - Florence and Wangi were both stunning. Because the hike to and from Florence Falls took most of our time, we didn't swim in the pool below the falls. Instead, we were given about an hour to swim at Wangi Falls and it was glorious! The water was cold and clear, and the falls were gorgeous. It was perfect for a hot day of sightseeing. Our driver, Sandy, was full of information about the area too, which made for an interesting tour.

Robyn G March 2018

It is an amazing place to see and must be one to tick off the bucket list of Australian special spots.

Ian H May 2017

Great tour. Went to Florence Falls, Tolmer Falls, Wangi Falls and the termite mounds. Our driver, Dale, was very informative and was very considerate of all passengers. One of the highlights was having a swim at Florence Falls pool. Most refreshing. I would recommend taking this tour!!

ANGELA R May 2017

Great day out with Deb who was an excellent guide and kept us all amused and interested on our journey. A very good lunch provided and after quite a long wet season the waterfalls were spectacular.

Dr Barbara C February 2017

We enjoyed the trip out to the natural environment around Darwin, and especially the friendly, highly informative commentary from Jeff our tour guide and driver. We learned quite a lot, and it was worth the extremely uncomfortable heat and sweatiness to see the lovely waterfalls and water holes. Those who have some mobility issues should be aware that the Florence Falls swim is only accessible via about 160 steps, but there is a good viewing platform right at the top, so going down the stairs is not essential for seeing, only for swimming. We like the view at Wongi Falls where we were right down at pool level with no stairs involved.....but no swimming either given the local croc population!

ashkeys February 2017

Excellent .

terryperkinsphd October 2016

Simon was not only a great guide but also was very careful with people's health as it was very hot and humid. He had a large supply of cold water and constantly encouraged people to stay hydrated. Florence fall plunge pool was closed but Wangi falls pool was amazing. With one closed it would have been nice to have skipped it and spend more time at the other. Termite mounds were very interesting.

Michael W July 2016

Awesome. Swimming in the waterfalls and rock pools was amazing, beautiful and fun. Great guide and plenty to see along the way. Highly recommended.

Susan L July 2016

This tour was fantastic! Relaxed and friendly. Great commentary! plenty of time at each of the waterholes. They were most helpful even when I messed up my booking! I would go on this again the next time I get to Darwin.

Glen H June 2016

This day was great. Had everything, discovery, swimming, good lunch comfortable coach. This is a must do tour. Again I would do this all over again on a self drive so as to spend more time in each location, it was great.

ivang May 2016

Great driver/guide who kept us informed and entertained throughout the day. The waterfalls were wonderful, lunch was good and there were sufficient but not excessive comfort stops. We were picked up on time and returned home as expected. Recommended tour

Deb C April 2016
