Very well paced. Lyn was a very knowledgeable guide. Well worth a trip to see the highlights of Litchfield.
Fantastic day. Mike our tour man was a knowledge of information. A must swim tour to thoroughly enjoy the pools. The jumping crocs were incredible.
Wonderful day tour, very good tourist guide, much like Swimming Pool and Crocodile part. Very handy for the pick up and sent back service
Private tour with 20 seats, fantastic swimming opportunities. Crocodile river cruise was magnificent.
A fantastic day out! Thanks to Lyn our tour guide who he insightful local info and made sure we all enjoyed our time in Litchfield national park.
Pat at the croc tour was unreal and we couldn’t recommend this experience highly enough!!!
The tour was well-organised, hit in all the relevant spots. The falls were amazing, as was the swimming. The crocodile trip at the end was also fantastic.
Lin was a fantastic guide. We are coming back to do this tour again. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see and learn about Litchfield national park, and see some massive crocs!
Wonderful day trip to Litchfield. Loved it because it was only a group of 20. Kel our driver and tour guide for the day was entertaining as well as informative. Lunch and snacks provided were all fresh and plentiful. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone wishing to go to Litchfield Park
A great day out and well worth the money. Our driver/tour guide Lyn from Outback Dreaming was fantastic. Pat our guide at the Adelaide River Jumping Crocs tour was also great.
Great trip tour guide was very knowledgeable and organised
Activities catered for every fitness level
Crocodile experience was fantastic
One of the best tours and guides we had in Darwin. Lyn took us to amazing sights, waterfalls to swim and then mades us the nicest lunch. She keeps u informed as she has great local knowledge and made this tour memorable for sure.
We had the best day, Lyn our guide was fantastic, being born and bred in Darwin her knowledge was excellent. The sights are amazing and a big shout out to Pat who gave us a real bang at the end. A must do trip
This was an excellent small tour trip out to Litchfield National Park.
Firstly the tour size was perfect with a max group of 20 people so we were never waiting around for people at each stop. Our guide for the day, Kel, was friendly, knowledgeable and pleasant to tour with and all a safe driver and prepared a good picnic lunch for us.
This is a long day but it felt like it was the right amount of time to see the major viewpoints and to have time to appreciate them. Beautiful scenery and natural spots and it felt like we saw enough of the park in the time allowed.
Highlight of the day was the hour croc cruise on the Adelaide River where we saw at least 5 big crocs and our fantastic guide (I forget his name) literally fed 6m crocs up against the side of the boat.
Fully recommend this trip and tour company, Offroad Dreaming.
From the on time pickup at my hotel The tour was amazing ,I was met by Rick the tour driver who throughout the day supplied endless information regarding Darwin and the different places we were going to visit during the tour with a few jokes thrown in he was full of handy information and took great care of all of us throughout the day, The waterfalls were fabulous and on Ricks suggestion I did the 1.5 KM easy walk between waterfalls rather than stay on the bus by doing this I was able to stop at small rock pools along the path and cool off in the refreshing water ,Lunch was ample and included cold meats ,Salads with all of the trimmings and finished off with cold apples and sliced fresh oranges ,Late afternoon we finished with the croc hunt on the Adelaide river with Paddy a truer Aussie bloke could not be found ,He also was wealth of information regarding crocodiles ,Their habitat and everything you would ever want to know about these amazing creatures ,After a long day I was dropped off back at my hotel and as a solo traveller was in awe of the wonderful day I had experienced and the new friends I had made on the bus ,The tour company took every precaution possible regarding Covid with a check in available ,Hand sanitizer and wipes .
If you are looking the do this Litchfield tour dont go passed this small family owned company ,Off Road dreaming were amazing I will certainly use them again next time I visit the Beautiful Top End
This tour was amazing. The guide was extremely knowledgeable as she had a true passion for the environment and the amazing sights throughout the day. She was an absolute delight to spend the day with and we discovered so much which only made us want to come back as soon as possible. The day tour was very good value, lunch was varied and nutritious with plenty of cold water which was needed. This day of bliss then ended with Pat and the crocodiles which was brilliant; another very passionate Territorian who loved the crocodiles and was also very entertaining He found us all the crocodiles we could ever want to see on a day where the tides were high so this was a credit to him. All in all a brilliant day, great value and one to remember. We'll be back !
A very good day but the waterhole swims were outstanding. Lynn was a careful and enthusiastic guide who helped everyone relax and enjoy the trip
Excellent tour with helpful and knowledgeable guide. Good value for money. Long day but plenty to see and do. Hotel pick up and drop off a plus.
Would highly recommend this trip with Offroad Dreaming if you are visiting Darwin. From the pickup, transport, food provided, spots visited and the guides Toby and Pat, it was a perfect day out for our family of four. The trip down to Litchfield takes about 90 mins and Toby provided a great commentary on the history of Darwin and the Litchfield park before our first stop in Batchelor. After visiting the Termite mounds, it was on to the Wangi waterhole and waterfalls where you knowingly or unknowingly swim with Freshies - it depends if you read the sign before or after you get in. It is a stunning spot and this is where we had lunch. The food provided was excellent - make your own wraps with salad and a variety of cold meats. On to Florence Falls and the Buley Rockpools before we hit the road to Humpty Doo and the Adelaide River ad our croc cruise with Pat. He only invites two tour companies and he is the most Crocodile Dundee bloke you will ever meet - complete with the knife. Brilliant cruise and sharing of Pat's knowledge of crocs and some really up close encounters with truly wild animals. All in all a brilliant day and not a single complaint from our fourteen and eleven year olds.
Great tour overall. Litchfield is beautiful, easy access swims. Our guide Lee was a sweetheart and lit up the tour with his energy and music. The crocodile cruise was the best of three I had around Darwin. Pat who drives the boat is almost wizard-like in his understanding of the river. 100% recommended.
Brilliant day. Guide was fantastic, she was so informative about the park and Darwin itself. If you only do 1 trip from Darwin do this one. The boat on the river to see the crocodiles was one of the best, most informative, trips ever
Really enjoyed this day tour! We saw so many things, but the day wasnt rushed.plenty of time to relax, swim and take in the scenery at each waterhole. Lunch was delicious, and plenty of snacks offered during the day. Lots of coffee stops along the way, and toilets available at each waterhole. Dave was an awesome guide- well organized, super friendly and very knowledgeable. The croc tour with Pat was outstanding - they come so close! so many great photo opportunities, lots of info and interesting stories, and always felt safe. Ive done a lot of different tours, and this one really stands out! 10/10 totally recommend these guys! !
A great tour with the crocodile experience being the highlight for us.
Norm our guide was wonderful, informative and funny at the same time, made the trip so relaxed and enjoyable.
Pat The Croc man..wow, wow, such a passionate advocate for these animals...first experience with crocodiles and we learnt so much and are in awe of these animals now.
The waterfalls and swimming holes are magic, water so warm and clear you could see the bottom and fish swimming around you....so relaxing and the spa bits where the water cascades over the rocks so much fun to sit and experience that spa feel.
All meals and snacks were great and we thank the tour operators for accomodating Anna's food intolerances.
All in all a great day and we thoroughly recommend this experience run by a local family. Great job!
Really good tour. Our guide Naf was so nice and knew so much. By entering the van he named everyone to make it in to a group. All the way he was telling facts, but really listened to the group when someone asked something. Small group means 10 people, just enough. Lunch was great, prepared and delicious. End of the day we did the croc cruise with a guy how knew all there is about crocs, really spectacular! More than worth the money, highly recommend this tour. Don't do the big company's, support locals like this one is really personal.
