Lake Argyle Sunset Magic Cruise Departing Kununurra
On our popular Sunset Magic Cruise, we’ll explore the rugged northern end of Lake Argyle while navigating through some of the lake’s 90 islands and inlets. Our Skipper will entertain and inform with commentary on the natural history and development of Lake Argyle, The Ord River Irrigation System and the Aquaculture Industry. You’ll encounter Rock Wallabies, Crocodiles, Wallaroos (Euros) and the diverse array of birdlife that call Lake Argyle home. You’ll be delighted and awed by the Archer Fish that shoot water up at your hand with amazing precision and watch a Catfish feeding frenzy. As the sun sinks behind the Carr Boyd Ranges, you’ll enjoy a complimentary drink and light snack to make the most of this magic time of day. With rugged red cliffs reflecting into the blue water, Lake Argyle is the ultimate place to catch the last golden rays of the Kimberley sun.

Sunset was absolutely incredibly stunning. We got picked up and dropped off at our accommodation which it made it so easy for us. The Captain, Greg, was so knowledgeable and explained everything so well. It was totally enjoyable trip.
Great trip to watch sunset while sipping a beer or champagne. Got to see some local wildlife and just see how big the dam is. Bus driver and Skipper were friendly and entertaining. Thanks for a great experience.
The tour was unforgettable. Greg the boat master and owner has been undertaking this tour for the last 22 years and as such what he doesn't know about Lake Argyle and its flora and fauna and construction is probably not worth knowing. During the cruise we saw wallabies and crocs and my favorite the golden orb spiders. One of the highlights was the swim in the lake where we were provided with bubbly and cans of beer. All I can say is I was thankful for the noodles that kept us afloat. Also biscuits ans dips were floated out to us while we floated in the calm and warm waters. We could not fault the cruise and would definitely recommend it to all Kimberley visitors,
