Sea kayaking is a fantastic way to explore the sheltered lagoons and beautiful beaches of Ningaloo: you can paddle into paradise and leave the crowds behind.

Imagine gliding over pristine turquoise waters with only the sounds of nature around you. Stopping to snorkel beautiful sites, either from the beach or from your kayak, with your guide at your side.

Along the way you'll look for turtles, rays, schools of fish, and coral life from your kayak. You may even see dugong (May to July) and dolphins.

Small group sizes means our guides can personalise the tour to their guests, to make your experience unforgettable. We usually have a maximum of 8 guests on this tour, but for large groups can accommodate 16.

Enjoy the contrasting scenery of reef and range that this UNESCO World Heritage-listed area offers - all from the best seat in the house.
Itinerary

The tour begins with pick-up from your Exmouth accommodation starting just before 8am. We then take the journey into Cape Range National Park. Depending on the launch site for the day, this may take 40 - 50mins. Your guide will choose the tour destination on the day to give you the best experience, depending on prevailing environmental factors. We usually explore the lagoon areas between Ned's Camp and Lakeside or Osprey Bay and Pilgramunna.
Upon arrival at the launch site, you will get fitted out with all the gear needed for the day, acquainted with your kayak, and your guide will give a safety briefing before heading out for the day.

Amazing day. Did the tour with a group of 3 other friends. Neri was a fantastic guide , so knowledgeable, kind and patient. Felt very safe with clear instructions and interesting information. The highlight of all of our holidays. Couldn’t recommend this more. We will definitely be back for more tours.

Had an amazing day exploring the Ningaloo reef, tour guide was amazing which took us to some amazing locations along the reef. I would say this is an absolute must at Exmouth.

Neri was an excellent host who made the day extremely enjoyable! She was extremely professional, skilled and experienced. This provided great confidence to all guests both on the kayaks and during the snorkels. Her knowledge of the town and its history was also exceptional.

We chased a shark around, watched turtles hurtling around and saw a million fish. All with the expert but relaxed guidance of Elijah who is a massive legend. What a cracking day. We don’t splurge on many organized tours but agreed this was 110% worth it. We spent a few days beforehand snorkeling on our own which was amazing, but this day was easily the highlight.

Fantastic day out exploring the Ningaloo reef. Saw lots of turtles and a huge variety of fish. Our guide Elijah was very knowledgeable and friendly and the day was well planned to fit in with the weather conditions. Highly recommend this tour.

Snorkeling and kayaking at Ningaloo reef was an exceptional day at the sea. We are 4 sea inexperienced but nature lovers. We were a bit apprehensive to venture in the wild west sea of Australia. The Exmouth Adventure team made the experience most enjoyable. A great blend of kayaking and snorkeling. Elijah was great fun, knowledgeable and very supportive to reluctant participants. He went out of his way to encourage and help so everybody had the chance to enjoy the amazing biodiverse environment of the reef. We saw numerous tropical fish including rays and funnel mouth fish. It was magical to swim next to the turtles. They supplied very good and healthy meals too...The equipment were very good quality too.

We had such a great day out with Daniel on the kayaks. Saw a bunch of wildlife. Daniel was super knowledgeable always ready to share and answer any questions. The gear was in great nick too.

Was super stoked with this tour. Had such a great day and the snorkelling spots we stopped at were epic. Our tour guide Elijah was awesome, so knowledgeable and really made sure everyone was having a good time (we were). Didn't feel super touristy and was a perfect way to see the parts of the ningaloo you otherwise wouldn't. Would do again.

Travelling solo, I had an amazing tour! We were blessed with good weather and saw some amazing wildlife! We had a tour guide named Daniel, who was incredibly knowledgeable about the area. There was a well catered morning tea and lunch (I did not miss out being gluten free and vego!!) Daniel definitely had our safety in mind and with a small group it definitely felt more relaxing than some other tours. Could not recommend enough!!

Fabulous day kayaking and snorkelling. Our guides, Elijah and Dan were excellent, sharing knowledge in depth, and checking in that we were all ok consistently. Highly recommended. Would love to do the 3 day trip!

Had an amazing time! Highly recommend to anyone, the best way to explore Ningaloo is in a kayak! Tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and friendly. Everything was provided all I needed was water and sunscreen. I will be coming back and definitely doing one of their longer camping/kayaking adventures. Thank you for making my trip one of the most memorable holidays of my life.

This was such an amazing experience and by far the greatest snorkelling adventure myself and others had been on! From all 5 of us, we would like to thank you for your great knowledge of the area and professionalism. We would all highly recommend this adventure to anyone contemplating it. Thanks Chris

I had a great time at this tour. Not only the beautiful marine animals we saw, but also our tour guide Neri, she is so knowledgeable about the Marin life, local scene etc, and she is supper accommodating, super nice(she took a detour to the lighthouse on our way back, when she heard I’m traveling without a car) Lead us to different ‘coral bombs’ to snorkeling. The scenery while you kayaking along is second to none. Highly recommend!

We have been lucky enough to with with mantarays, whalesharks and do this tour on our holiday. Can honestly say while all experiences were different they have been equally amazing. This tour, which had six people on it, is definitely the most intimate and relaxed experience and Neri is a wonderful guide. We visited some magical spots, crystal clear with beautiful wildlife including some turtles. Neri took some beautiful photos to preserve the memory. We are both 40 something with very avearge fitness and have two kids 9 + 13. The kayaking was no problem; nor was getting back into the kayak from the ocean.

My partner and I went out snorkeling with Merri at Sandy bay and a few other places. The wild life we seen was absolutely life changing! Also as a first time snorkeler Merri was so kind and helpful always checking that I was ok and in her own words said I was a pro by the end!
