My name is Andrew. I live at Callala Beach. I have been on this cruise several times; once as part of a group and then 3 times with my family. Each time has been special for several reasons. I have always viewed many dolphins and on one occasion in terrible weather, we saw hundreds playing and enjoying themselves. The staff are exceptional and look after the family making sure we have plenty of photos, information, help in the boom net, and great service with refreshments. The skipper has an excellent knowlage of the wildlife sanctuary, a good sense of humor, and makes learning about the area and are a really fun, special experience. My kids 8 and 7 learn so much, are thrilled by the dolphins, and have the best time of the lives in the boom net. I would recommend this adventure to anyone...

Very enjoyable cruise around the Bay. Lots of dolphins and beautiful white sand. Commentary OK but more local history would be worthwhile and mention of indigenous settlement and history. We were a little disappointed that we did not get closer to Point Perpendicular.

Spectacular experience Dolphin Watching in the pristine Jervis Bay waters! It was such an enjoyable experience aboard Jervis Bay Wild Cruises with Anthony and Vlad. They both made us feel very welcome. They also provided tour commentary and insights into the local ecology, marine life and the general knowledge of the area. It was so relaxing taking in the scenery. It was amazing viewing a beautiful pod of dolphins and their babies up close. The boom nets were lots of fun. It was a perfect surprise birthday experience for my husband. The captain even wished him happy birthday. We met some lovely other passengers on board. Some of who thoughtfully shared photos with us from when we were on the boom nets, and couldn't take photos of our own. We have recommended this tour to many of our family and friends. We are already planning our next time on board.

Brendan and Sonia were excellent hosts and guides , took great care of our family, best experience, Sonia made an extra effort of conversation, guiding throughout and was brilliant with kids, their polite and friendly behaviour was an icing on the cake

A fun trip for the family. Saw loads of dolphins and the boom netting is fantastic (if a little cold). The captain kept the boat out a lot longer than advertised. It wasn't too busy aboard so very easy to find a space and look around.

Great experience but no dolphins which was disappointing! Next time maybe. Offer part refund maybe? Or a vochour toward next experience? I know they are wild animals. Other then that all crews members were warm n friendly. Jervis Bay is beautiful!

The ultimate experience here in Jervis bay!!!!! where do we even start incredable weather an amazing experience seeing the dolphins. Greg the caption giving great knowledge about the dolphins over the speaker as well as a few jokes to get every one is a great mood. James running around helping family’s take amazing pictures and Margaret making lovely tea and coffee for all and helping out on the deck. Michael and I have traveled the word and this experience was one we will never for get. We will be back... Thanks again guys we can’t wait to rebook and get back down to Jervis for another adventure xx Krystal & Mike

We booked this trip up on the morning we were going, the person on the phone was helpful & polite. We got to the jetty 1/2 hour before & the crew were busy cleaning the boat, it looked like the best boat in the harbour. We had a drink in the restaurant while waiting, the crew were very friendly & greeted everyone aboard. They explained everything we would be doing & in what order, this was great as my eldest son suffers with anxiety. As a family of 4, (boys aged 5yrs & 8yrs) we all climbed into the boom net. This was so much fun & had never seen this before. We dried off on the top of the boat while looking out for dolphins, which we saw lots of & got some great photos & videos. The snacks & drinks onboard were reasonable & the crew were great with the children even allowing them to sit in the captains seat & have their photo taken. We could not have had a better morning, the timings were perfect for us, not too long but long enough to do/see everything. We cannot praise the crew or recommend this trip enough! Thanks for a magical morning!

We had a lovely one and a half hour cruise. It was a calm day with a bright blue sky and sunshine. The captain was very informative, pointing out a dolphin that had been attacked by a shark, he provided lots of interesting facts about marine life and the coast line. I didn't participate in the Boom Netting, judging by the amount of shrieking, they were enjoying it. Many thanks to Ernie, he sold us the trip tickets, served us a coffee in the cafe then helped cast off. Nearly forgot saw lots of Dolphins, first time I've heard them communicating with each other.

I had an amazing time on this cruise. The staff are awesome and answered any question. Our skipper was very knowledgeable. Saw a pod if about 40 Bottlenose dolphins And spent about 50 mins following them. Highly recommend doing this when your un Huskisson.

Nice modern spacious boat Boom netting was fun but only goes for about 10 minutes per group (max 20), would have liked to have done it longer Didnt see any dolphins unfortunately. This was a morning cruise. I would next time try the 2nd cruise of the day so they know were the dolphins are Still a beautiful time on the water, following the coast line north up past Hyams beach inside and outside seating Friendly staff Boarding of the boat started at10.20 for 10.30 departure Cafe at the wharf (didnt eat here)

Ann M February 2019

Our group of 7 booked on the same day for the boomnetting cruise and we had the best time. Boon netting was very fun and the service was excellent. They even had a bottle of champagne for us to drink on the deck and happily took photos for us while we were having fun in the boomnet and posing. While we were not lucky enough to see the dolphins the experience and excellent service more then made up for it.

I went on this tour over the Christmas period. It was such good fun. I especially loved the boom netting. The crew were great and added to the enjoyment of the day. I would highly recommend it

Three generation group took this trip on the Port Venture on New Years Day. Saw lots of dolphins. Plenty of shade plus easy access for us oldies whilst the children loved the freedom to roam through out the boat and the Boom Net ( of course). Skipper and crew (Margaret and Bethany) very friendly and helpful throughout. Highly Recommended!

Margaret R May 2018

What a great cruise we had. They promised dolphins and they delivered dolphins, lots of them. Mothers, calves, cavorting teenage males. We got the lot. Very informative and experienced crew. The rest of the cruise was great too. All in all a fantastic morning and such good value for money.

Kristina Z March 2018

This was well worth the $45 price tag! Great scenery, saw lots of dolphins and it was very exciting to see them in their natural habitat (first time I’ve seen them in the wild). The boom net was definitely a unique experience! Would have been even better if it was super hot the day we went out but was great anyway :)

jacktimgem March 2018

This 1.5 hr dolphin tour was perfect for our family (kids 6 & 4). Many dolphins were out and about and we even saw a small shark. The option to boom net was available and looked so fun. Boat crew were friendly and enthusiastic. It was my husband's birthday and choosing an experience like this was such a treat for the whole family. Highly recommended for all!

George B February 2018

Had a AWESOME time , took family members/teens and saw about 60 dolphins ! ! ! ! ! The captain was great and put the Boom net down close to them , soooo it was like swimming with them :) :) :) I can't speak HIGHLY enough of this cruise as I have done others with them and have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences EVERY time , there knowledge of the area and friendly staff are FIRST CLASS , a definite MUST for anyone visiting the are . . . . . . . Definitely bring a camera , hat , swimmers and towels

Carolyn B January 2018

We had a ball so much fun in the boom net and we saw so many dolphins. I highly recommend it. And the price is good.

Catherine M January 2018

Safety and comfort not so... My two children and I were the last three people called into the net and unfortunately we had to sit in the most unsuitable spot - against the water at the back of the boat. For guest weighing less than 50kg (my daughter weighing only 35kg) she was hanging on for dear life whilst losing her swim wear! This was extremely uncomfotable and hard to do if you are not physically Strong. I would not recommend sitting in this spot, especially watching other excited guest opposite in the boom net laughing and enjoying a comfortable bubbly ride. I would have preferred the staff member to tell us that this would be a challenging spot to hang on with the force of the water coming through from under the boat and to maybe wait for the next session. Instead we felt we had to accept it as there were many guest still waiting to boom net. We were extremely disappointed that we didn't enjoy it as we were expecting it to be a highlight. Thankfully the boat was very comfortable and the captain was very knowledgeable with lots of information. We appreciated seeing dolphins in the wild so close to the boat on the most beautiful hot day in Jervis Bay.

Tash P January 2018

How great was this? Saw dolphins (about 10) from about 3m from the boat, and had a crazy laugh in the boom net. Spacious new boat even though it was fully booked, friendly staff, all round a great experience. Easy to find the pickup point, parked 30m away (got a good coffee at the café while we waited to board), and walked 100m to the Huskisson Pub for a seafood lunch after- too easy! Highly recommended for a great day out.

baser January 2018
