The men loved the experience of helping with the sailing and all the information about how to sail
Hospitality was fantastic scones and cream with tea/coffee then wine beers and a cheese platter Fabulous morning
Awesome arvo out on the water. The crew are fantastic and extremely knowledgeable. Got a chance to take to the helm as well. Just a great afternoon all round
A wonderful day out on the water. The crew were very friendly and I had an amazing day. We are keen to head our sailing again and would recommend this crew to any considering spending an afternoon out on the water in Hobart.
Being involved in sailing the Yacht was awesome. We sailed on the Magic Miles with Baz, , Patrick and Dave, they were laid back and good fun. Great local cheese platter and wine topped off the experience. Highly recommend
We were sailing on the Derwent for 3 hours. The crew -- Barry and Jimmy -- were outstanding.
They gave us a detailed description of the yacht, what we were about to experience, explained sailing terminology and we both had time behind the wheel steering. Towards the end the bikies and cheese-- gourmet Tassie style -- with a couple of glasses of Chardonnay just topped of a memorable afternoon. Experience not to be missed, particularly with this crew. Many thanks B and J. DARYL HOCKING
Don't be misled, Derwent River is actually the Hobart harbor (just tradition). Barry and crew were outstanding! We spent a wonderful morning sailing the harbor, seeing and hearing about the great place know as Hobart. We were literally wined and dined (some of the best cheese in the world is from Tasmania) along great stories, wonderful humor and exciting day of sailing. To top it off we learned that this boat (63') participated in the famous Sydney to Hobart race along with her skipper. If you want a really memorable experience in Hobart we would recommend it.
Such a wonderful experience! A lovely crew made it special. We had the boat to ourselves and they were very professional, respectful, courteous and it was most informative for my son. I recommend parking in the all day car park behind the art school and if you cant find the actual jetty the tourist info pier were very helpful. A luxurious way to spend the afternoon!
Absolutely wonderful afternoon out on the Derwent. Sunshine, Tasmanian cheeses and home made scones
Agradable y placentero. Momentos excitantes cuando el viento soplaba fuerte. Muy buena atención a bordo, desde el trato y la experiencia del Capitán y su personal, hasta los apetiziers servidos durante las 3 horas. Muy recomendable.
Exceptional afternoon. Great commentary and the opportunity to be at the helm was awesome. Thank you for a wonderful few hours. Very relaxing.
Great afternoon. Harbour was overcast when we left but we had a great afternoon chasing the sun. So relaxing,Great crew and afternoon tea Thanks mum for scones and cream.
Enjoyed by all aboard local and visitors
I had an amazing time out on the Derwent River with the crew on this yacht. As the holder of the world's weakest stomach I was petrified that I would suffer from motion sickness, but it was smooth sailing all the way through to the end. Fabulous food, amazing views, and an exceptional crew make this an experience you won't want to miss. This at the top of my 'to-do' list the next time that I am in Hobart.
How lucky were we as we had the 3 crew members all to ourselves. Being under sail was just so magical. Scones and coffee to start with then smoked salmon and crackers. To finish we were served various cheeses and fruit. 3 hours went by so quickly. So, everyone book today and have a lifetime experience.
It wasn't the best weather on the Derwent River, but the whole thing was highly enjoyable and the Derwent River is still beautiful even when its gray and raining.
Our hosts were very gracious and went so far as to offer to go out at another time when it was sunnier, unfortunately this was the only time we had available.
Our hosts and skipper were all very knowlegable about the art of sailing and encouraged us to get involved which was alot of fun.
Mark and his crew were fantastic. We had a fabulous time on the Derwent. We have been telling all our friends and would highly recommend it.
excellent sailing weather. Hospitable hosts. Skipper good knowledge of sailing. Veiws brilliant from the Derwent river
Was fun, however the winds were approximately 50 knots and we probably should not have been taken out in hindsight. But was still a fun experience.
A great experience. The skipper and owners were informative and a pleasure to be with. Great company, good hospitality and would recommend it to anyone with an interest on the water.
