I like this half day tour to Low Isles especially the morning tour and being on the island before the other boats arrive. The giant clams and turtles. The facilities have improved with a walking track to an old grave and toilets now.There are umbrellas for shade and pegs to hang your towels on and the reef is ok.

Great tour if you aren’t able to spend a whole day on the water! Spent most of the morning snorkelling. Learned a lot on the snorkelling tour. The reefs around the Island are beautiful and we even saw some turtles! Made it back to Port Douglas by noon

It was a fabulous trip we didn't snorkel but the glass bottom boat was amazing and the guide very knowledgiable. It was a brilliant day and we intend using Calypso cruises again next year . The staff were lovely

We went out for the morning with Calypso Cruises for their half day Low Isles Tour. We jagged a beautiful day for snorkelling! The water was calm and no wind. The water temperature was amazing. Cam, Jo-Jo and Kelsey were fantastic guides and really helpful. A half a day trip was perfect and got to see amazing coral and sea life, sit on the beach and have baby reef sharks swim right by you right up in the shallows. I have done the full day tours before right out on the far edges of the reef and found it to be a very long huge day. I must say I was surprised at the amount of marine life I got to see. The highlight for sure was swimming beside the turtles and spotting the octopus! This is perfect if you have kids or just don't want to spend a full day out on the reef. We got there early before all the other tours so had the beach to ourselves for most of the morning. The other tours started coming in just as we were leaving. The morning tea on the way back was perfect. They did say to us that we were lucky to get the weather that we did and usually the Low Isles can be quite windy and can be cold when you get out of the water. We didn't swim or snorkel in a wet suit and found the water temperature was more than fine. We went out in the glass bottom boat first and it was great to see all the coral (only 20 minutes) and there was plenty of opportunity to snorkel after this tour. The snorkels and equipment are all disinfected and good quality if you don't have your own equipment with you. Highly recommend and would do this trip again!

Great trip for the family. The reef is regenerating beautifully after the cyclone and the excessive dry period. Lots of soft corals and fish. Parrot fish looking beautiful and we saw an octopus in all its glory. Baby sharks. Clams. Stag horn coral. Lovely. Crew were very helpful. Nice morning out and tour of isle included ospreys and pied pigeons and a turtle. Recommend to all

The Low Isles afternoon cruise was incredible! The team, Sam, Steve and Ludi, were all friendly, hilarious and extremely knowledgeable. Steve took the time to sit down and answer all our questions, explaining in detail what coral is, how it gets its colour, what ‘bleaching’ means and what we could expect to see. Ludi was our guide in the water and pointed out some incredible sea life. They were all really entertaining to listen to, even the safety talk was delivered in such a way as to make you want to listen! All in all, the entire experience was one that we will never forget. If you are keen to go out on a tour, I can’t recommend these guys enough!! We can’t wait to come back and do it with them again!
