Great day trip, it was the highlight of our trip to Melbourne. The whole day was excellently organised, long but well worth it, I even saw Koala bears in the wild! Our guide Kurt, was knowledgeable, entertaining and what more can I say it was a great day!!
Stunning views! This was a great tour. We were able to see so many places in a short amount of time (maximizing our trip). Admittedly, it felt a bit rushed (including bathroom stops), but our driver, Sylvain was very accommodating.
Fabulous day trip stopping off at some very interesting and pretty locations. Made all the better by knowledge and patience of guide Alan. The 12/9 Apostles amazing. One more item ticked off my bucket list!
Great itinerary. Friendly driver. Great experience. If you are limited for time recommend this trip.
We chose this tour provider because of a review stating that it had more sights/stops to help break up a long but eventful day. That was great insight into the nature of the experience. I’m 100% sure we had experiences that were missed by other tour groups. Well done.
It was an early pick up at 7.15 and whilst it was a 12 hour trip the time flew in. Our tour guide and driver Maj was very good giving a running commentary all about the Great Ocean Road and at all interesting places and stops. We had around 6 stops from memory from morning tea/coffee to comfort breaks and 30/45 minute stops at interesting places and for lunch. The highlight of the day was the 12 Apostles which were stunning and the pictures taken with my phone and camera will ensure this memory will last forever. If you are in Melbourne this is a must tour. We were dropped off back in Melbourne around 7.15pm in time for dinner in Chinatown.
This tour was a great way to experience the beautiful sights along Great Ocean Road in just one day. The group size is small enough to be able to quickly and easily get on and off the bus; making it possible to experience 8+ different stops along the journey. The town we stopped at for lunch had many different restaurant options to choose from and good shops as well to be able to pick up a souvenir. Great value overall.
The trip was as expected. The driver was excellent and gave out information where necessary. We visited the Great Ocean Road. Viewed the sights and we’re returned back to Melbourne at around 8pm. The trip gives an insight into the area but if you want more detail then a few days would be required
I would recommend this trip to everyone. The tour guide Leon is fanastic. Knowledgeable and make comments on almost every tour spots when we just headed off. Professional and a really comfortable trip. He attended to everyone's needs. Have visited quite a few spots in just a day.
You think you go to see the 12 Apostoles.... but that"s only the end.... of a great day in the South Australia coast!!!
This was a great trip. Jim was out driver for the day and he was really friendly and funny. All told we were on the bus for 12+ hours but it was worth it. The small town we stopped in for lunch was very cute and the Apostles and Loch Ard Gorge were showstoppers. If you are taking the regular route (not reverse) sit on the left side of the bus for the best views of the ocean.
It is good choice for people who do not have more time to spend on Great Ocean Road. It is short but you will see the best places from the Great Ocean Road. But if you eant to spend more time at 12 Apostoles or any other place, choose longer journey or hire a car and go there. It is long distance for 1 day, therefore the timing is set only for short stops.
Long trip but worth every minute of it. our Guide and driver Louis from Wildlife tours Australia was very knowledgeable and informative, he shared a lot of information with the group. allowed us plenty of time for photos, comfy breaks and good locations for Lunch. Highly recommended
Really good Day but the bus is à bit unconfortable. Allan was so intersting. Thank you we Will send you some friends
We traveled the ocean drive to the 12 apostles in a bus. We met around 7 am and returned at 7 pm. Drive during the day was very nice. You need to bring food to eat or if you are early you can buy food at the 12 apostles around 5pm. The driver Jack was informative about the area. We had a great time.
Loved the tour and the tour guide. Mattey was the best!
An expert and very friendly tour leader and a great day. Highly recommended.
This tour was amazing!
Fantastic tour and well worth the effort. Our guide, Brett, was friendly, informative, helpful, and got to know everyone on the trip. Pick up was on time and easy from central locations across Melbourne's CBD. Our tour got hit with detours thanks to massive brush fires in the area but we were able to see everything and it never felt rushed. Highlights: 12 Apostles, Great Ocean Road, Loch Ard Gorge, rain forest walk, wild kangaroos, wild koalas, and Torquay beach at night.
An fantastic day trip from Melbourne...a bit too short since there are so many spectacular places to see..the 12 Apostles lookout is magnificent. Also we stopped to othe 2 lookouts on Great Ocean Road: Gibson steps and Loch Ard Gorge. The 30 min Rainforest walk
Was also great and the stop to Kennett River was a big surprise to see the King parrots and koala . The guide was very knowledgeable and a good entertainer...highly recommended to anyone traveling in that area.
Guide was very knowledgable and friendly.
Although our day experienced some raindrops and wind, the coastline is magnificent and stunning. Seeing the 12 Apostles was even better than the pictures. Our guide, Grant, gave us plenty of time at each spot along the way and provided us with terrific information. I would highly recommend everyone visiting the area do this tour.
All though a long day, it was worth seeing.
Amazing tour up great ocean road. Definitely a must do when in Melbourne long day but worth it.
