A must do, especially if you love animals or just want to have a great day and be educated. Plenty of interesting things to see and do not just for children but adults too.
The Australia Zoo was the highlight of my 2.5 week trip! I saw Norman ? the baby tiger walking next to me and held a koala, what could be better?? The bus was on-time and the hints they gave us about the zoo were great!
Great place, the zoo animals all seem to like being there ,as the natural habitat was there and recreated better any other zoo I’ve seen. Very clean
The highlight of our 3 week vacation! Fantastic experience. Loved being able to pet kangaroos and koala❤️
This tour went very well. The drive to the zoo is beautiful and the zoo itself is a very pleasant place to spend your day. There is plenty of time to see the animals, go to the Crocoseum show, eat lunch, and buy some souvenirs. Make sure to stop by the Wildlife Hospital to see their facilities.
This was a great day. I was a solo traveler so having a driver and not having to worry about directions was wonderful. I thought to total cost was reasonable. The driver was pleasant and his comments along the driver were interesting and his tips about the zoo were very helpful. This was not a big zoo compared to others I have visited (like the San Diego zoo) so I did not feel the walking was excessive or that I needed more than the 6 hours to experience all the animals. I was there on a weekday and it was expected to be rainy so the zoo itself was VERY lightly attended. This meant I was able to see all the animals I wanted to and there were no lines for food or to even hold a koala. Many exhibits I viewed without anyone nearby. The animals were all out and active and I had a great time. I did not see the big croc show but I wasn't there for the crocodiles. Overall - great day!
We did the VIP caddie tour. Toby , our guide, was the best. A great way to see everything with a limited amount of time. Great experience and the koala exhibit was amazing.
Excellent. Staff were BRILLIANT, friendly and willing to help. Grounds were immaculate. Food was fantastic.
From start to finish a lovely day, such a well run zoo and the Crocosium is brilliant. Absolutely loved it.
Cuddling a Koala is an added bonus. Thank you will be back x
Our driver was very informative during our drive to the zoo. Lots of information about Australia and the sights along the way, so that was fun. He offered great advice about the zoo and some of the attractions to make our visit the best it could be. On the drive back afterward, he was respectful of the fact that we were tired so much less chatter. The zoo was really cool, pretty much exactly what I expected. There are many water stations and restrooms along the way as you walk throughout the zoo. The staff were very friendly and eager to answer questions. I would definitely recommend this excursion to others. Be aware though, it's a long day and you are bound by the timeframes that are set up by Croc Express Coach, which is fine for adults but may be too long a day for younger kids.
We had a terrific day at the Australia Zoo, which pays homage to the late wonderful Steve Irwin. The show at the Crocoseum was fun, but the best parts of this facility are its layout, its tremendous array of animals, its cleanliness and even the food was great! We were picked up a block away from our hotel and our driver gave us some interesting facts on the way there. We loved it!
As a tourist there is no better way to get to and from the Australia Zoo than by Croc Express Coach. It was a comfortable, air conditioned coach, that went from the Brisbane CBD to the Australia Zoo, with the Australia Zoo ticket included in the price. It also made the entry into the Zoo easier since we entered through the large group entrance and we did not have to wait in the normal line. After a long day of walking all over the Zoo, it was nice to jump back on the coach and have someone else drive us back to Brisbane. I would highly recommend the Australia Zoo by Croc Express Coach to anyone desiring to visit the Zoo from Brisbane or the Gold Coast.
Australian Zoo is amazing from New Zealand and has been there six times , a must-do for any animal enthusiast or zoo lover
The driver of the coach was very informative and provided many tips to get the best experience out of our day at the zoo. There is no wifi onboard the coach or charging stations. Once at the zoo we experienced everything and had no problem getting it all done in the time allotted. The highlight of the zoo is the croceseum and the show! To make this zoo experience even better, book an animal encounter! The zoo is small compared to Amercian zoos, but still had many things to see.
Was a bit worried that this would be a Disneyland kind of venue, designed to please tourists. Was impressed by the great environment for animals
The tour guide drove us straight to the entrance of Australia Zoo.
We were their a little early so 9-3:45.
What I really liked is that I booked my tour the day before I went and within 1-2 hours I had someone calling me to confirm the pick up location. I don’t do a whole lot of traveling so this kind of communication definitely poor me at ease!!
I will definitely do this next time I bring the family!!!
The Croc Express was easy. No car, no problem. We walked a Wambat, saw the hospital behind the scenes, petted a koala and fed the wallabies.
Excellent Zoo, clean ,friendly and helpful staff. Feels like Steve Irwin's dream is still very much alive.
Fabulous Zoo. Especially loved the tigers. Helpful coach driver. Efficient way of getting to the zoo from Brisbane.
The encounters with animals like the Koala, Kangaroo, and even a Cheetah were extraordinary. It was much more than I expected. Really could have used a second day.
This was an amazing trip and one I am so happy I did. I would recommend it to anyone. There is so much to see and you do get close to the animals.
The park was wonderful, the staff were great, we really had a super time! We would definitely return!
Excellent tour, although weeks later it is not as easy to recall and review. we loved the noon show with the trained birds and the crooks - very well done. Was very hot and humid the day we were there but did get a chance to pet Koalas, feed the Kangaroos, and see the tired Tasmanian Devil. Overall, a not to miss tour if you are in the Brisbane area.
Excellent zoo but would advise to take own food as the food hall only ok.
