We guarantee you’ll see a koala or two, a mob of kangaroo, a whole colony of flying fox and many species of bird. If conditions are right you may also see pademelon, echidna, tawny frogmouth and water dragons.

All of our guides are environmental scientists. They will help you learn to spot the different between a kangaroo and wallaby, or a grey-headed flying fox and a black one.

Along the way you will be amazed at the abundant birdlife. Native hens, ducks and waders; noisy colourful parrots; iconic kookaburra; magpies; currawong; tiny flitting wrens and robins, are just some of the birdlife we see on this tour.

The whole day was great, and my favourite part was definitely the koalas. Wendy explained exactly what was happening, knew koala habits and habitats really well. It was a very special experience.

Wendy's passion and respect for Australia's wildlife is simply contagious. It was a joy to see pademelon, koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and flying foxes in the wild and learn in detail what steps are being taken to preserve their special habitat. We requested a vegan lunch and were blown away by the gorgeous vegan picnic spread. The tour was very well paced without too much time spent in the car. I certainly plan to do more tours with Vision Walks the next time we're in town!

All the tour was beautiful, and Wendy is so kind, love her job, and share it with us. The kids were really happy to see all the animals in their own environment.

A great wildlife-viewing experience with a professional and extremely knowledgeable guide. Wendy takes very good care of her guests and ensures they get the best possible safari experience by taking them to the best viewing spots in the area.

We really enjoyed our eco-tour. We saw all the target species, and even more! We also learned a lot about these animals and Nature in general from several different ecosystems in this beautiful region. Being in a small group allowed us to see many animals and to make great pictures. All our observations were made with total respect for the animals, they were never disturbed by our presence. A big thank you to Wendy, our guide, for her kindness, her teaching skills, and her dedication to the protection of Nature!

Make sure to book this one, as it allows for seeing some iconic Australian animals in the wild. We got to see koalas, kangaroos, walibi’s, pedamelons, flying foxes, turtles and all kinds of birds. Wendy is extremely knowledgeable and has the perfect background to answer any question regarding nature. Curiousness is rewarded with Wendy’s willingness to share. You can sense her fondness and respect of nature, never intruding the natural habitat of the animals you encounter. The binoculars will get you really close, while Wendy is making brilliant pictures for you. The lunch was exquisite with all fresh and healthy ingredients. Thanks, keep up the good work!

Our guides were super knowledgeable and passionate about environmental studies. We enjoyed the pace and the delicious picnic lunch. We left with a much greater appreciation for natural wildlife in Australia and the impact of industrialism on the ecosystem It was a very pleasant day, engaged throughout, well paced and full. The pick up and drop off at our hotel was a bonus and made the day even more relaxing and enjoyable.

My friends and I booked the Night vision walk, the wildlife tour, and the platypus walk & Wendy did not disappoint!! We saw every animal that I had hoped to see & more! I was so thankful to be able to see the animals in their natural habitat and learn about the area. Wendy was a wealth of knowledge and it was wonderful to hear the passion she has for the animals. Thank you for a fantastic time and being and advocate and voice to those who can't speak for themeselves. We need more people like you!!

We had a great day with our guide, Wendy. She did a great job describing what our day would be like, where we would be going and what animals we would be seeing. It was so fun to walk and find the Koalas, see and hear the flying fox (bats), kangaroos, wallaby’s, pademelon, and beautiful birds, all in their natural habitat. Wendy’s knowledge and love for what she does makes this a really special tour.

Had a great day on this tour! It was so informative and such an amazing experience to see the beautiful native animals in the wild!

What an amazing day! Wendy took us to see Australian wildlife in their natural habitats. She personally took us to see Flying Fox, Kuala, Pademelons, Wallabies, Kangaroo and loads of other species in their environments. We got to see the Australian countryside and the creatures who inhabit it. She also provided a lovely picnic lunch in a beautiful setting. Don’t see wildlife in a zoo. Have Wendy take you on a day safari in the Australian countryside.

Did the Wildlife Safari tour and it was everyting the description said it would be. We saw koalas (one really up close), Kangaroos, pademelon, wallaby, lots of birds and flying foxes. Our Wildlife tour guide Wendy was just incredible and had so much knowledge so we did learn a lot about the animals and about the area. The lunch (chicken salad) was also very nice. Worth the money!

We met Wendy at the appointed meeting place, then after the introductions we were delighted to discover that we were her only customers on that particular day. We set off and soon discovered how knowledgeable and enthusiastic Wendy is about wildlife. We saw everything that we set off to see Flying Foxes, various birds, kangaroos, paedomelons and of course Koalas ( I think it may have been 15 in total ) inc adults and babies. We stopped off for a picnic lunch which was just right & then continued our Safari. By the end of the trip we were spotting Koalas on our own having been shown the clues of what to look for. 2 days later we went out into Queensland and spotted 3 Koala's unassisted. Thankyou Wendy a great experience with same great memories. Dave & Jane

Wendy was great and friendly. Delicious Lunch in front of the rain forest. We saw hundreds of flying foxes, 3-4 pandamelons, at least 8 koalas and many many kangaroos and Wallabys. And we got many informations about the animals and their habitats.

vicfam4 July 2018

Going on Safari to find wildlife was amazing. The flying foxes were really fascinating and that was only the beginning. The koalas were viewed from a scenic country road and there were Joeys. The rain forest picnic and walk were excellent. Then we saw lots and lots of kangaroos and wallabies. Highly recommended.

Chris D April 2018

Wendy makes this a relaxed and informative journey through the countryside and into the forest. Wild animals are elusive, but Wendy knows where to find them. So good to see Australia outside the town and so easily. Wendy picks you up and sets you down where you are staying. And all with a nice picnic lunch included. Take a camera with a zoom in facility if you can. A great day.

Lashare_B February 2018

The tour guide is very knowledgeable about the animals and their habitats. Wendy tour guide knew where to find the animals and took very good pictures on her camera which she shared with our tour group.

marionreischmann December 2017

Wendy is such a great guide and knows everything about nature and wildlife. We saw 11 sweet koalas, even with Babies, many beautiful kangaroos etc. A perfect day in very nice and clever company. Highly recommendable even for families with smaller children! Thank you very much - Jan, Marie, Marion from Berlin, Germany
