We thoroughly enjoyed our day on Bruny Island. A wide variety of places visited and quality food and beverages. Our tour guide was amazing and very friendly. The bus was new and comfortable. Most impressed and have already recommended the tour to our friends and family.
Our driver, Marni (?) was very well versed with his information and a pleasure to be on the trip with. All of the places visited were high value.
This tour was the highlight of our 7 days in Tasmania. Well worth the money, in fact would not explore Bruny Island with being on a tour.
Very enjoyable excursion, tried lots of food. The cheese, chocolate and wine stops were the highlights for me. Delicious and great portions and plenty of time to enjoy them. I'm not an oyster lover so it was lost on me but if you're into oysters that would also be a great stop. Lunch at the winery was delicious. Honey stop could have been better if they made some kinda plate for each person rather than everyone dipping in the same jars (especially after a gentleman on the tour double dipped in every single one and grossed us all out). Morning tea was a very nice spot but way too late in the afternoon, would recommend moving it earlier. Whisky woulda liked time to do a sample rather than just the one quick sip. But overall a very enjoyable tour and a great way to experience Bruny Island.
We had a fabulous day in a small group of eight. The tour is very much as described. The cheese and oyster tastings were both very good (oh my goodness the oysters!!!). Lunch was also very good, with a good choice of meals provided. It had it all really - very picturesque, chocolate, gin, whiskey etc. Thoroughly recommend, and our guide Luke was a really lovely, knowledgable young Tasmanian.
Excellent food tour, Tim our guide was very informative and was very funny, will recommend this tour to everyone
This tour was amazing and well organized! Lots of food, fun and interaction! We started with cheese and beer tasting, went on the beach, walked to an awesome lookout, had coffee, tea and pastries, then wine tasting with lunch to follow. Ended up with chocolate factory and tastings and lastly whisky/gin tasting. Can't remember the exact order of if I might have missed a stop or to but it was a full day and so much fun! You start with a van ride and then are loaded on a ferry with the van.
A most enjoyable and interesting trip. Friendly and fun tour guide who quickly got on first name terms with all the tour party. Well organised but as a small group didn't feel regimented. Very good value. Thoroughly recommended!
If you want a special day of fine food tasting drinking eating and sight seeing, this is the tour for you.
Our guide provided insight, facts and history of the island, it's people and businesses.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, with tasty delights including oysters (don't say yuck until you taste the Asian Infusion - special for those who prefer not to partake), cheese to please, boutique brews, Atlantic Salmon that basically jumped out of the water onto our plates, wine and cider, chocolate and whisky tasting. Maybe you get the picture this is a gourmet day!
Andrew our tour guide was great in caring for us throughout the day and making it thoroughly enjoyable.
Many thanks to Pennicott Wilderness Journeys.

An amazing day! Everything surpassed our expectations. Our guide, transport, scenery, food, drinks - the whole experience was just wonderful. Highly recommended!
This tour exceeded our expectations! It was well worth the money we paid! We ate, and ate and ate! It started with a cheese tasting and ended with a drink of gin or whisky. Did I mention that lunch was scrumptious and delicious! Plenty of food tastings and if you love oysters you will be in heaven!
Our tour guide(Fran) was fantastic and when my friend fell she couldn't have been more helpful. She even ensured we got home safely. From the first tasting to the last EVERYTHING was fantastic. Well worth it! Do it!!
This trip is great and well worth the money. Guide was super informative and fun and the attractions were all good and in some way or another educational too -except the fudge factory which got business from our tour but gave nothing back. Drop that from the itinerary guys!
Awesome, beautiful and entertaining. Our guide Luke was so knowledgeable. Highly recommended this tour and the company
A full day that lives up to the promotion. Our driver/guide on Friday 4 Oct, nicknamed ‘Reno’ ( orwas it Rio?) was excellent and a credit to the Pennicott group.
The tour was such a nice experience. Amazing local food and drinks also a excellent guide tour.
We went on a Bruny Island Food Tour with Sam. He was insightful and delightful.
The food on the tour was great, and we were definitely full by the end! It was the perfect amount of eating, drinking and sight-seeing. The highlight definitely was a stop at the Worlds Biggest Garden Fork - certainly a sight to behold.
I would highly recommend this to anyone!
Our guide/driver Sam ensured we had the best experience on Bruny Island. Our hosts during our gourmet stops were most welcoming. The food, drink and scenery were spectacular. Hard to beat.
We had booked our Bruny Island Tour a while before our holiday. The tour was exceptional and definitely a highlight of our holiday. Our guide Tim was wonderful, keeping us entertained all day with his jokes and knowledge about the island. The food we sampled was excellent and at every stop tables were set up prior to our arrival with someone explaining details about their produce. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that loves food and would like to spend a day on the island but does not want to spend a night over there. We will definitely remember this tour for some time to come,
Wonderful day spent grazing away on Bruny. Tom our guide had good knowledge of Bruny, very enjoyable.
Great day. Tastings and lunch were good. Michael who took us around was very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this tour.
A mother/daughter weekend in Hobart. We both had a wonderful day enjoying local food and produce. The scenery was stunning. Michael was a great tour guide. Totally recommend!
The program was great covering a range of food and wine tasting with sightseeing. The tour guide/driver was great fun and the whole day a joy. We probably benefited from it being the quiet season with most of the venues catering just for us.
Excellent day out. We had Sam as a guide and his insight to both the food and Bruny Island was great.
The scenery is stunning and it is a very relaxing day as you hop between the various locations.
Wonderful day out with an excellent guide. The food highlight for me was the cheese tasting, the oysters not so much personal preference but it is great that this company supports local producers. This is a family run business and they clearly love Tasmania and want to sho it at its best. Lunch was good. Fab company. Bruny Island is a must do if you visit Hobart.
