It was a unique day trip in that there were so many different attractions. We liked the fact that we experienced so many things in a short time (less chance of boredom). Great offerings. The day passed far too rapidly. Recommend it to anyone !!

Bruny Island Gourmet food tour was fabulous. Great cheese, beer, oysters, lunch, honey, whisky, fudge all together with a comfortable bus and informative tour guide. Andrew (Rio) was great with comments and advice during the trip. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable time and would recommend it to anyone.

It turned out I was the only traveller on this trip to Bruny Island. My tour guide Mitch provided me with the most personalised experience I could have asked for. To witness the beauty of this island and partake in the freshest of fresh produce Tasmania has to offer along with Mitch's wealth of local knowledge and good humour made for an excellent trip indeed.

Linor G February 2021

Everything was memorable, from the pickup to the drop-off. Tasmania is a beauty already and seeing more of it makes the experience more memorable.

The tour company called us confirming a day before that they can do hotel pickups which was really convenient for us. We were the first to be picked up by our tour guide Tim who was really courteous, funny and knowledgeable. We were only 8 in the group but there were no dull moments. Our food experience was hands on, informative and made us more appreciate Cheese, Oysters (we weren't fan of oysters before but after the tour, have high praises for fresh TAS oysters), chocolates and rum and local honey.

The sights were magnificent and people are just so kind and hospitable. Even if it rained half of the time, we had a blast and would definitely give this a 5-STAR rating.

The whole trip was very well done. Commentary informative and the food samples delicious. Thouroghly enjoyable.

Jesse H February 2020

Very enjoyable excursion, tried lots of food. The cheese, chocolate and wine stops were the highlights for me. Delicious and great portions and plenty of time to enjoy them. I'm not an oyster lover so it was lost on me but if you're into oysters that would also be a great stop. Lunch at the winery was delicious. Honey stop could have been better if they made some kinda plate for each person rather than everyone dipping in the same jars (especially after a gentleman on the tour double dipped in every single one and grossed us all out). Morning tea was a very nice spot but way too late in the afternoon, would recommend moving it earlier. Whisky woulda liked time to do a sample rather than just the one quick sip. But overall a very enjoyable tour and a great way to experience Bruny Island.

We had a fabulous day in a small group of eight. The tour is very much as described. The cheese and oyster tastings were both very good (oh my goodness the oysters!!!). Lunch was also very good, with a good choice of meals provided. It had it all really - very picturesque, chocolate, gin, whiskey etc. Thoroughly recommend, and our guide Luke was a really lovely, knowledgable young Tasmanian.

This tour was amazing and well organized! Lots of food, fun and interaction! We started with cheese and beer tasting, went on the beach, walked to an awesome lookout, had coffee, tea and pastries, then wine tasting with lunch to follow. Ended up with chocolate factory and tastings and lastly whisky/gin tasting. Can't remember the exact order of if I might have missed a stop or to but it was a full day and so much fun! You start with a van ride and then are loaded on a ferry with the van.

If you want a special day of fine food tasting drinking eating and sight seeing, this is the tour for you.
Our guide provided insight, facts and history of the island, it's people and businesses.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the day, with tasty delights including oysters (don't say yuck until you taste the Asian Infusion - special for those who prefer not to partake), cheese to please, boutique brews, Atlantic Salmon that basically jumped out of the water onto our plates, wine and cider, chocolate and whisky tasting. Maybe you get the picture this is a gourmet day!
Andrew our tour guide was great in caring for us throughout the day and making it thoroughly enjoyable.
Many thanks to Pennicott Wilderness Journeys.

This trip is great and well worth the money. Guide was super informative and fun and the attractions were all good and in some way or another educational too -except the fudge factory which got business from our tour but gave nothing back. Drop that from the itinerary guys!
