Guides were very good and kept you well informed especially Chris who took us for our tour on the Army Duck. Was a great day out.

We just finished the Tropic Wings Classic Kuranda experience. Really great day, extremely well organized, great bus driver/tour guide. Really enjoyed Rainforestation, food was lovely, Army duck, Aboriginal dancing and culture activities were great. Day was relaxed and we saw a lot, plus experienced the Kuranda train and Skyrail. Definitely recommend.

What a wonderful place to visit, the Skyrail is fantastic, I was very impressed with the 'new' walkway and lookout at the Barron Falls, what a great change the new lookout has made. One thing that I think would make a huge different would be to add several bench seats to sit on. Being an older person I would loved to have been able to sit and enjoy the rain forrest away from the noise at the Skyrail station.

The Army duck tour was informative and interesting. The boomerang throwing was great fun. Excellent to see the value placed on the indigenous history of the area.

Nigel_S October 2021

The Kuranda Rail and the Skyrail experiences where top shelf. The Butterfly sanctuary, Wildlife Park and Rainforestation were very good. Experienced and informative guides helped make this day tour a memorable one.

Mahkam_G September 2021

CARROLYN_H September 2021

Great day out travelling on the train from Kuranda, then taking the option to use the sky rail on the way back down. We were showing our friends the experience as we had already done it once before. Fantastic day out.

Sandy_J September 2021

Our tour guide, Adrian, was lovely. Very caring, funny and friendly. He explained the itinerary well and you knew what to expect. It was a really fun day.

Close your eyes if you're scared of heights, but you'll miss magnificent scenery over a tropical rain forest, particularly the amazing straight tall trees. As we travelled in a lock down period there were only the two of us in the gondola. The whole trip is relative short, so having a couple of breaks along the way allows us to view the rain forest more closely, and hopefully see some wild life, even snakes sunning themselves on the walkways. Just walk gently, slowly and quietly past them. Take time to read the information posters at the second stop. There's much information on them that most of us don't know. Finally, whatever you do if you're scared of heights, don't pay for "Diamond Class". The gondola has a glass floor!

A great experience with absolutely amazing scenery along the way. Reasonably priced and well organised.

Brilliant tour. Especially the Aboriginal Experience. I can’t rate that section highly enough. Not only was it polished and professional but it was an amazing privilege to have access to a culture that is not often encountered in my corner of the world. You don’t make enough of it in your brochures- why is that? The rail trip to Kuranda was, of course great, and I hadn’t realized the history of the area. Again, something that I hadn’t expected. Skyrail was also wonderful. Loved the Duck, too. Great day. Thanks

Had a great day with all the different activities and day trip was well organised, would have liked a window seat on train

Pickup on time and drop off at Freshwater very good Train trip very enjoyable When we got to Kuranda Station there was no bus with the blue wings on it, we had been informed that there would be one to meet the train, so there was confusion on how to get up to the ABS. Army Duck Rainforest Tour in my opinion was a waste of time and money, better off spending more time in the wild life park. The Pamagirri Experience was one of the best shows I have seen, worth while. I would have liked more time in the wild life park as it was a rush to keep up with the time schedule. No time for pics with Koala or Crocodile. The Skyrail trip back was very good and enjoyable. Barron Falls looked magnificent from above as did the rain forest.

It was a perfect tour. I could not expect anything more. Timing was perfect, bus driver was quite punctual and very helpful, also you receive a paper map and schedule of activities (which is definitely better that just saying it in word). I requested for rainforestation tour and our driver was Chris. He was a fabulous, knowledgeable and very funny local who made the best memories of this tour. Very amazing and hospitable aboriginals with beautiful dance performance and perfect place for shopping especially in sky rail shop. I am quite satisfied to pay for this tour and to anyone who want a relaxing day with no waste of time in queuing or getting lost, this is a great option!

The Aboriginal culture experience was excellent and done with good humour. Overall the tour was very good but considering the price of the tour the lunch provided was mediocre.

Great trip up and above the rainforest. Such a beautiful view. . It’s be nice to have a bit of commentary about what your seeing. There were two stops on the way but we opted to stay on to get up to the markets before they closed.. Don’t forget turn around and face the camera at the end to have your photo taken .. buying the picture is optional and costs around $30. The souvenir shop is full but so t be fooled and think you can come back later as it closes early. So shop while you are there or you’ll miss out. The walk around town is interesting.I found the markets disappointing. Quite small and Very hippie, not a lot of variety, and it stunk of incense .. fine if you like it ,but I hate it. Worth the trip up but wouldn’t go again ..

A really enjoyable day which packed in a lot of activities. The train ride was a nice relaxing way to start with incredible views. Kuranda village was nice with lots of boutiques. Rainforestation was a good with the army duck tour and indigenous show being the standouts. Finished the day with a relaxing sky rail trip back down with simply outstanding views. Would recommend.

yizz2021 March 2021

Both scenic railway and sky rail were enjoyable and must do. The skyrail was slightly long for someone who might be scared of heights. The scenic railway was probably the least exciting of the two but very relaxing. Be prepared to smile at the end of skyrail!
