Russel was a warm , personable and enthusiastic guide with lots of knowledge about wine and Adelaide. He made everyone on the tour feel welcome and included. A great day out and good value for money.

Candice_R November 2021

We went to some great wineries and got to see the sights of the beautiful Barossa Valley and Adelaide Hills. Lunch was also a highlight. Our driver Russell was very knowledgeable and we had an excellent time. Would definitely recommend this tour.

I would highly recommend doing a tour of Barossa valley with these guys. We had a fantastic day with JR as our tour guide. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and we really enjoyed learning a bit about Adelaide's history as we drove out of the city in the morning. We also heard a lot about the history and the families of the wineries as we travelled through Barossa valley. We went to four beautiful wineries where we tasted 5/6 different wines and a member of staff talked us through the story behind each bottle. Our favourite was Peter Lehmann's where we also had some delicious lunch after the tasting experience. We got back to Adelaide around 5:30pm and each couple was dropped off outside their accommodation which was great.

Dallas was a funny, informative guide - and a very experienced group photographer! We had a great time - vineyards visited were a good mix of the unfamiliar and the famous, and the lunch included was plentiful and tasty. The unrushed pace made for a relaxing day out. Lovely scenery on the drive, the whispering wall was a novel and unexpected attraction, and we learned a lot. Would highly recommend.

Awesome experience! Fabulous time. Snooze on the way back! After sampling wonderful wine. Loved the whispering wall.

What a great day thoroughly enjoyed this tour. We hadn't visited the Barossa before and found this area more appealing than The Hunter in NSW (where we came from). I particularly enjoyed the wonderful lunch at Peter Leiman's. Highly recommend this tour.

Safari162267 September 2021

Taste the Barossa definitely showed us their kind and friendly hospitality. Highly recommend this tour as it was a wonderful day out. We had 4 stops during the day. All the wineries were wonderful, friendly and full of information. Lunch was amazing, platter definitely served two. Our tour guide was such a blast and his humour was hilarious. I’d do it all over again if I could. That’s how excellent our day was!!

Right from the pickup time we knew we were in for a great day. JR was an excellent host and very knowledgeable guide. The trip out to the Barossa was enlightening as he talked us through lots of historical and cultural landmarks as well as the general history of Adelaide and the Barossa. The wineries we visited were all a little different in their styles of wines and presentation of the tastings. We enjoyed them all. For me Chateau Yaldara stood out, whilst my husband found Wolf Blass very impressive. They were all good in different ways. The others on the tour were great fun too and it a memorable experience.

Pepgeelong July 2021

The full day Barossa tour was fantastic. All four wineries were well chosen and we enjoyed a range of wines. The platter lunch Peter Lehmann Winery was superb, plentiful and had local meats, cheeses, bread and relishes. Our driver JR did an excellent job and had many stories about the area visited. He has a relaxed manner and was extremely popular with the group. Absolutely recommend this tour.

We couldn’t have wished for anything else from our Barossa Valley wine experience. Our host Dallas struck the perfect balance between being informative and witty. We visited some beautiful wineries, tasted great wines and lunch was delicious, with no problems catering for special dietary requirements. Would recommend this tour at the beginning of your SA holiday as Dallas has a thorough knowledge of the area and lots of great tips on things to do. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

Quality wineries and an amazing lunch. Dallas is an awesome guide with great local knowledge. Highly recommend this tour. Chateau Yaldara was my favourite.

What a fantastic day! Our host Dallas really made the day special - the wineries were too class and we had a wonderful friendly group. Dallas ha great relationships with the wineries which translated into discounts for us! We were dropped right back to our door at the end of the day - highly recommended!

Rodders351 June 2021

There is so much to see in the Barossa, and having a knowledgeable tour guide is important. Joe was a font of knowledge, with many stories to tell, adding colour to the trip.  Seppeltsfield was the first winery; then Dell'uva for lunch; followed by Ubertas and rounding off with Chateau Tanunda. There was a short stop at the Barossa Cheese Factory to break things up. Joe added the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, before the journey back to Adelaide. Seppeltsfield - the winery is vast and full of history. The wine tasting was a little disappointing with our host being softly spoken (which we did request her to speak louder), and made harder with English not being her first language. Ubertas- more of a modern winery, which needs a little more experience to create a warm feeling. Chateau Tanunda - lots of history and a super impressive winery. Just felt a little rushed with the wine tasting. For us, the highlight was Dell'uva. The history; the unique processes; the family focus; and of course fantastic food and wine. Well done Joe for organising a jammed packed day, and your stories throughout the day.
