This was a wonderful tour. I highly recommend this to anyone who would like to see the Blue Mountains and does not want to drive. I know I would not seen as much on my own. The tour operators were wonderful.
We had the best time on this tour! Our first stop was the cable car at the Blue Mountains. It was completely fogged in, but fun, nonetheless. As the the tour went on, the fog lifted and we were able to see the Three Sisters. The lunch on the tour was incredible. Then, since some of the overlooks we would have gone to were not available, due to smoke from the bush fires, our guide Robert, took us to a field where he taught us how to throw a boomerang! Then off to Featherdale Wildlife Park to see some amazing animals, feed the kangaroos and get our picture with a Koala! Before taking us to the ferry to head back to Sydney, we took a quick driving tour around the Olympic venues. The ferry ride ends with you going underneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge - which was awesome! It was the most incredible day! Robert was just wonderful! He knew everyone's name and made it a point to make everything fun! We were in Australia and New Zealand for a month and took a lot of tours. This one was the best one, by far! Take this tour - you will not be disappointed!!
This tour was very interesting and enjoyable. Our driver Adam was very good, he was entertaining and easy to get along with, as well as being very knowledgeable about the area.
In spite of rain and cloud which blocked some of the views our guide Tash made the whole day an exciting experience. We would recommend her and the trip to anyone.
We very much enjoyed the Blue Mountain tour, especially our driver / guide Adam, who provided a lot of good information and had a great sense of humour. The tour is a full day trip, which drives through / tours the western suburbs of Syndey, provides a comprehensive tour of the Blue Mountains area, as well as visiting the wildlife park, and providing a great view of the western suburbs / Sydney from a ~1 hour boat tour down the Paramatta river to Sydney. Having done a city tour the day before, this tour provided a good perspective on the suburbs / natural forest area surrounding the city.
We do not have a perfect weather during our tour but our tour guide made sure that we still enjoy the trip. Kudos to Adam for his effort and making it fun and enjoyable.
Fabulous trip from start to finish. Guide, Steve very knowledgeable but not heavy going. Lovely boat trip to end day.
Following the horrendous fires, we didn't know what to expect but the tour and guide were wonderful! Nothing was rushed. Found out things about mining we hadn't known before for this area. It was very inclusive.
This was an awesome tour, got to see a lot of cool things. Unfortunately the rainy weather destroyed some of the views, but our driver Bob was amazing at adjusting the schedule so we could see as much as possible. If you are looking to get out of the city and see some nature, this tour is for you. My favorite part was hand feeding kangaroos at the wildlife park! The railway and cable car at scenic world were fun, but couldn't see that much through all the mist.
This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sydney, as always we always try and book a small group tour as you are not restricted to where you go, we chose Anderson's Tours.
Our pick up was close to where our ship berthed, there was a problem as to where the ship would be the morning of the trip, but the company were very professional and helpful with advice. Our driver was Bob he was Brilliant very knowledgeable and when we arrived for the cable car ride it was misty so we would not have seen anything, so Bob took us to another part of the area where it was clear and OMG the views were amazing, this is the advantage of not booking a tour from the cruise, as these are bigger coaches and they have to stick to their schedule. The cable car was brilliant as you enter stand on the left great views, the walk round the rainforest was very good and again Bob made it very interesting. The ride back up on the railcar was vey hair raising especially at the steep stop, but well worth doing. At the end of the day it was a nice ferry ride back to the terminals.
The whole trip was brilliant the views amazing, but the best bit was our guide BOB who made every bit of the trip great.
Early start 6.45am but there is a lot to do . Guide driver was Adam McCae. So enthusiastic about nature it was infectious. Went out of his way to get us great views of the three sisters and blue mountain and helped take photos for everyone. Blue mountain is stunning. Scenic trip with cable cars was great and walk through old mining area. If you like breath taking scenery the morning is for you. Lunch was simple but enough to keep you going. Afternoon to the animal sanctuary - huge selection of birds, kangaroos, koala bears , penguins, dingoes etc. From there river boat ride back to Sydney. Great day out.
The tour was amazing. Robert was so knowledgeable and informative, as well as looking out for our safety. The steepest railway at Scenic Railway was so fun. The views were breathtaking. Would highly recommend this tour!
This was a great tour. Our guide Kat was extremely good and the tour was very good - a very full day.
This was an awesome tour even though we didn’t get to see the view at our first stop due to fog. Fortunately it cleared up for scenic world though. Our lunch stop was delicious and then a stroll into town for ice cream dessert. Featherland animal sanctuary was fantastic!!! Kat was our tour guide and she made the long treks in the van entertaining and educational without being irritating. The final leg of the journey was a scenic river tour which was the icing on the cake!!!
Got there before the crowds and Kat took us to lots of view points with awesome views. She also highlighted the flora and the many birds we saw. Really enjoyed all the scenic rides. Nice lunch and trip along the Paramatta River. All up a very enjoyable trip
Very nice tour. We wanted to see the blue mountains and some animals while in Australia. It was a full day and we enjoyed it all. Our guide was great.
We had a fantastic day at the Blue mountains . mark our tour organiser for the day was fantastic . very informative and looked after everyone . he made the day . everything ran to time . we were so glad that we booked the trip . it was the highlight of our 3 week stay in Australia .
Tash was an awesome tour guide and very knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains and Sydney areas Would highly recommend booking this tour.
This is a great tour. Mike looked after us very well. We really enjoyed the blue mountains and hope to revisit some day. Would recommend this tour
Tour started with 7:15 pickup. Weather had been poor the day before but began to clear as we made our way out of Sydney in a small bus. About 20 people overall. Tash was our driver/guide and provided lots of interesting information as we journeyed out to the Blue Mountains. There were some tremendous scenery, though some low cloud lingered in the morning, impairing our views. Lunch was great, with an opportunity to check out the town. Featherdale animal park was great for photos of the unique number of animals native only to Australia. Took a boat back from site of Sydney Olympics, to Circular Quay. Was a great day.
The weather was perfect which really helped with the views and as for the rest of the day.....that was perfect too. So much packed into one day. Coach ride, then the rides at Scenic World, lunch, a trip to Featherdale Wildlife Park, other stops for fantastic photo opportunities and finally a trip along the Paramatta River, sailing into the harbour and passing under Sydney Harbour Bridge. The Coathanger. All with a very knowledgeable guide. A highly recommended tour.
We had a wonderful day on this tour. Would highly recommend it! The Blue Mountains are beautiful. We enjoyed many interesting stops and activities —- a nice blend of sightseeing, guided tour and time to ourselves. Our tour guide, Kat, was exceptional. She is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. She made an already good trip exceptional!
Steve was an amazing guide. Made the experience more enjoyable because of his humor and knowledge. Steve was very friendly and delightful to be around.
We had a wonderful day trip with Anderson Tours. Our tour guide Tash was just brilliant. Extremely friendly, chatty and knowledgeable. She took us to amazing look out points away from the crowds. We got to see and do so many things during the day, yet never felt rushed at all. Would highly recommend this trip. Brilliant time from start to finish.
