Excellent trip! Our tour guide was very helpful and provided us with a lot of Sydney and surround areas information. The tour was really precious time spent! I recommend this tour and promise will be one the best memory from your Sydney trip.
Absolutely fantastic trip. The Blue Mountains were beautiful, the Sydney Zoo was quite an experience, and then ending with a very scenic cruise along the Parramatta River back to downtown. 10/10 Would recommend.
Excellent trip despite the weather on the day. The coach was very comfortable and our guide excellent.
Would recommend this trip
This trip is run by AATKings and the details between Viator and them about pick locations caused us some worries as did the change from small groups to one larger bus. However any problems vanished when we met the tour. Ash and John did a great job of guiding us all day to make the most of a wonderful site.
As a visit Blue Mountains are a must do but clear weather makes it very special. The river cruise offers great views of the Sydney riverside and iconic views of the bridge and opera house and in 30 mins rounds off the great trip.
Good value for money trip.
Alex was excellent and informative.
For future could do with more time at Sydney Zoo and less time at lunch stop.
Really enjoyed it, Steve was a great tour guide. Lunch was good and the wee town was interesting, could have done with a lot more time there just browsing the shops.
We used AAT Kings for our excursion to Blue Mountain, Scenic World and the New Sydney Zoo that just opened Dec. 2019. Our guide and driver was very professional, friendly and informative. The New Sydney Zoo was great! The animals were lively and we got to feed the kangaroos. The information lecture on the Maori culture and customs was very interesting. The weather was not good for Blue Mountain but we enjoyed the rides at Scenic World. Overall a good trip!
Great communication from company regarding pickup time prior to tour. We were met at Harrington street by Steve in a clean comfortable coach with toilet. Soon we departed Sydney heading for the new Sydney zoo where we had a tour 20 mins start before the zoo opened. On the way Steve was very knowledgeable and gave us some really good history about Sydney and what lay ahead for the tour with some funny jokes annecdotes.
At the zoo we had a tour and talk about the Aboriginal ways and also free time to roam ourselves.
We then headed for the town of Leura for lunch though it was nice it was only warm.
After lunch we headed for the mountains but the weather has already turned and it was lashing with rain.
We arrived at the Cable car and took a ride over to the other side and explored the valley below and it has a great risen walkway but may prove difficult for some as it has stairs and is steep.
I enjoyed the park despite the bad weather but the park was quiet - a bonus. On a bad note due to the weather the views were limited. ( NOT THE TOUR COMPANIES FAULT)
After the park we headed back to Sydney Olympic Park to catch the boat back to Sydney with views of the bridge and Opera House with a voucher to get a free complimentary drink (alcoholic)
I really enjoyed the tour despite the weather and they needed the rain after the bushfires and drought in the country and my only real complaint was the lukewarm lunch.
Steve was brilliant
This was a fabulous tour. Henry, the driver/guide was amazing. Prompt hotel pick up, visit to Sydney Zoo, tasty lunch in a little village in the Blue Mountains, entry to Scenic World and a river cruise back to the Harbour. Brilliant value, well organised and exceeded my expectations
The blue mountain tour was a great value for the money. Lunch included, zoo tickets, scenic world and harbor cruise back with a drink made it the best excursion of my entire trip! And Peter was a great driver and guide!
Our tour guide gave us lots of great information. We did not get to go into the blue mountains due to the fires. We had to view from overlooks. Liked the small zoo.
A great way to experience a variety of things in one full day.
Due to great weather on Jan. 14, 2020, with sun, mid 20s, good visibility, and no fire smoke, every aspect of the day went great, from the zoo visit, to the views of the Three Sisters, and the 'blue' in the Blue Mountains, to lunch and walk around the quaint village, to the Cable Cars, worlds steepest railway (take it going down, and try to sit in or near the front for the best experience), walking the forest floor, followed by a wonderful harbour boat tour.
AAT Kings communicated well in advance, was on time, and being picked up earlier enabled getting a mini city tour.
Our driver and tour guide Jason was very knowledgeable, balanced and honest in his communications and answers. He gave great tips and ideas for each stop.
This full day trip was amazing. well-planned and executed... hard to describe the beauty of the area...definitely a must-see.
We thought this tour was fantastic, driver/tour guide was well informed and courteous. Very well priced with plenty to see and do, lunch was better than we expected in fact it was delicious. I know you can't control it but we had a perfect day weather wise and luckily bush fire smoke free. Would absolutely recommend this tour.
This tour is great! I highly recommend it.I can't speak for all the motor coach companies, however, AAT King was above average. The bus was very comfortable, with WiFi, USB charging ports, comfortable seat with foot rests. All the destinations were as advertised and in our case, we had perfect spring weather to boot.
Great trip! Comfortable bus ride with WiFi and USB connection. John was great guide. Picked up @ nearby hotel, plenty of time @ wildlife sanctuary where guide came along to give insights, fun @ the mountain with train and gondola rides and more stops along the way back to sightsee.
Coach pick up from outside hotel was on time. John S the driver was excellent. Very knowledgable on history as we went along. Lots of time at the various stops. Wildlife park was good as was the lunch that was included. It was very windy on the day so was unable to fully use the rides in the Blue Mountains. The views were great. The river cruise back to Sydney was nice and relaxing. Overall a great trip and would definitely do it again.
This trip included everything - an hour at Featherdale Wildlife Park, Lunch and Shopping at Leura Garage, Scenic World entry, a few scenic picture stops, and a river cruise into a drop-off of Circular Quay or Darling Harbor so you can enjoy additional shopping or dinner during the sunset near the Harbor Bridge and Opera House. The guide was knowledgeable, wi-fi on the bus was not only available but free, and on the ferry ride we each got 1 free beverage of our choice (including alcoholic). Our favorite experiences on this excursion included feeding the wallabies at Featherdale and the hike at Scenic World to The Three Sisters!
One very minor criticism would be that, as a younger couple, we could have done without the lunch/shopping at Leura Garage, especially if it would have extended our time at both Featherdale and Scenic World purely because of how much fun these stops were in comparison. We felt very rushed in both of those parks; for scenic world specifically, there is a lot of time lost simply waiting for the trams. We were able to ride all 3 (yellow, red, and blue) but definitely did not see everything because we chose to hike to The Three Sisters and were on a time crunch with the tram wait. However, these minor criticisms were not enough of an influence for us to rate this excursion lower, because it was still completely worth it just to check-out.
Excellent in every way. Fun and learning trip. The weather was great. Scenery wonderful. Very well informed on all aspects of every location visited.
I traveled with AAT Kings and the Pilot / Guide whose name was Peter T was very nice and friendly.Kudos to him for all his support and dedication to make this trip memorable and successful for everybody. I lost my camera in the scenic world and he did'nt hesitated to take me to the spot again even after we left the way in return and he did everything and managed to get my Camera back. I am so grateful to him for this.
This trip allowed us to see the Blue Mountains three unique ways. The stop at the Wildlife Park was fun and surprising. When you pull up, to the park it looks like it will be small, but it spreads on for a long way once you’re inside. The three different “rides” on the mountains provided for great opportunities to see the mountains, valleys, and rock formations. We took a walk into the national park before having to be back for the bus to bring us back to Sydney. Because we had extra time, we were able to stop at another lookout for about 15 minutes then the tour guide, Stuart, took us through Sydney Olympic Park before dropping us for the river cruise. All-in-all, this was a great day trip into the Blue Mountains - HIGHLY recommend it.
The three sisters were a nice sight with a nice story but the amazing rain forest was truly amazing, unique and once in life time experience. Primitive plants and landscape frozen in time
We have to give our props to AAT Kings and our guide, Smokey, for a fantastic day out! Its a really long drive going to the Blue Mountains but our guide gave interesting trivia along the way and it was a smooth ride that we took a little nap as well. Lunch was lovely, it was nice that we had multiple menu options to choose from. The cruise back was definitely a great option so we didnt have to suffer through rush hour traffic back to Sydney.
Being an all inclusive we expected that the time for visiting each site would have been “just enough”. Actually our guide/driver Steve was very helpful giving suggestions to enjoy at most each site. Great experience
