Stop At: Adelaide Oval, War Memorial Drive, Adelaide, South Australia 5006 Australia
The redeveloped Adelaide Oval offers a unique blend of new and old, carefully integrating the latest in stadium design with famous features such as the heritage scoreboard, century-old Moreton Bay Fig trees, the grassed northern mound and more. These elements form an embedded museum, with integrated points of interest and historical features bringing the whole stadium to life.
Access restricted areas and experience the thunderous roar of the crowd as you take to the ground through the interactive player’s race. See where some of the world’s greatest bands have entertained sold-out crowds and step inside living history as you explore inside the iconic scoreboard.
Adelaide Oval Tours are led by expert volunteer guides who will share captivating tales of new and old Adelaide Oval. Each guide has their own unique stories and tour paths change seasonally - there’s always a new experience waiting to be had!
The tours last approximately 90 minutes at a steady walking pace and may include the use of steps, stairs, ramps, escalators and lifts. Comfortable walking shoes and weather appropriate clothes are strongly recommended as the path includes external areas.
While at the Oval, take time to wander through the famed Bradman Collection, on loan from the State Library of South Australia. The Collection follows Sir Donald Bradman’s progress from club cricketer to the international stage. It explores his major role in cricket administration and provides glimpses of the family man and all-round sportsman.
The Bradman Collection is open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and is free for the public to view.

This tour was excellent, it was very relaxed but so informative. The guide was so passionate about the beautiful oval so it was easy for him to talk about it. Some restrictions due to COVID-19 so we weren’t allowed in to the dressing rooms, but still got to look through the glass. The highlight for me was climbing up into the 1911 scoreboard that still operates as it did back all those years ago. This has to be the best $25.00 I’ve ever spent on a tour. Highly recommend it to everyone.
Fantastic! No need to be a Crows or Port fan to appreciate this stadium. Your tour guide takes you around the entire oval, including change rooms and inside the early 1900s scoreboard. Good value for the 1.45mins our tour took.
Highly recommend this tour. Great value and very informative tour showing all aspects of the Stadium.
its a great tour and there is a lot to see at the stadium.
Fantastic experience to be able to see behind the scenes of one of the best in Australia! Couple it with the Rooftop Climb and you will have a day to remember!
Great tour and very informative guide. Lovely ground and great museum.
Amazing tour and can highly recommend. It gives you a behind the scenes feel of the running of the oval. Guide was extremely knowledgeable.
I was the only one on the tour- still did it. The guide was very knowledge on all aspects of the ground- both in cricket and AFL . The change rooms were interesting to see as you usually don't see in these rooms.
Fantastic...highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was very informative and had a great personality. It was awe inspiring to view every aspect of the oval. We just loved the old score box with its workings and history.
Fantastic highly recommended!
Fantastic highly recommended!
Highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide Colleen was excellent, very knowledgable and articulate.
It gave an insight into the history as well as the current story of the Adelaide Oval which we would not have experienced had we just inspected the grounds ourselves.
The tour was concise, the right duration and very informative, whether you are interested in football or cricket or just sport generally.
Would recommend this tour to locals as well as overseas/interstate visitors.
Definitely recommend doing this tour of Adelaide Oval. Even if you live in Adelaide it is well worth it.
Excellent tour. The tour guides were very professional and knowledgeable. The stadium is fantastic. I loved the way the tour was organised. I think it is a must visit experience.
Brilliant stadium and enjoyed the stories and information shared by my guide
Nice small group with very good guide. Well worth doing.
enjoyable visit bradman museum is great
My brother and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the oval, placces you don't normally get to visit, the view from the cricket press box and the interior of the old scoreboard were highlights. Full marks to guide Bob. Would have liked to see the football visitors rooms but wrong season I guess
A pleasant tour for the family, even my 6 year old. The guide had lots of knowledge and it was exciting to go into areas we normally don't have access to. The scoreboard was especially cool. Due to the timing, sad we couldn't go into the dressing room or onto the actual oval even if just for a photo. Worth a look for cricket fans!!
The Adelaide Oval Stadium Tour was excellent. The tour took about 90 minutes and the tour guide was quite knowledgeable and we were able to go to all the areas that you would expect from a tour of this type. Access to the historic scoreboard being the real highlight as it showed just how much effort is still required to provide the scoring when a cricket match is played . This tour was the highlight of my recent visit to Adelaide.
very knowledgable tour
