What a great way to see the river and crocs in their natural habitat! The guide was very informative.

jbjabiru November 2021

Our time on the Daintree River with Ray was a blast, his knowledge of the river and insights to the ways of the local crocodiles was very informative. On a day when he didn't promise any sightings we saw Lumpy the 5m male and Bruce the 2m female along with a bunch of 9 month old babies, awesome!!

422tianam November 2021

Amazing experience! Highly recommend! Saw lots a crocs, plus little babies ones. Very friendly and informative.

searknub November 2021

Very friendly family run business. Ray was a very funny tour guide and definitely knew how to spot a croc ! We saw a few baby crocs as will a very large female croc getting out of the water up the bank. Highly recommend! Great value for money.

This was a great tour of the Daintree River. It was easy to access the staff was friendly and the guide was great. The guide was able to point out crocodiles which was awesome as well as other animals that we wouldn’t have seen by ourselves like owls and snakes. Recommend this tour over others in the area

Bruce was an amazing host and made us feel welcome. Very informative about the region and its animals. We were lucky enough to see some crocodiles and a baby croc.

Awesome! We stopped in after being told Bruce Belcher was one of the best tours. He took us out but we only saw 1 small croc and he told us to come back for a complimentary trip. As it was hot crocs tended to hide out in the mangroves and it was also mating season. We came back 2 days later and saw 5 crocs including the legendary 5 metre Lumpy which we followed for more than 20 minutes. Our guide had eagle eyes spotted heaps of critters including a yellow and green tree snake, an azure kingfisher and herons. Our trip well exceeded the allotted hour as our guide was so excited about sharing this experience. All of the staff were exceedingly helpful and without a doubt it was the highlight of our trip in the Daintree.

What a lovely tour by a very well informed tour guide. Would have loved to have seen more crocs, but they were probably hiding, but we did see a couple plus some other beautiful wildlife. The perfect length for the tour which was followed by a nice cold beverage.

Fantastic. Great knowledge saw huge crocs. Our guide even gave us an extra 15 min on the tour. Hard working people super well run. One of the best things we did in the Daintree. These guys are way too cheap for what they offer so a great business to go and support aswell

Nature decides whether your cruise will be a winner. We learned a lot about crocodiles from our fun and knowledgeable tour guide. We were lucky to spot some juvenile crocodiles on our cruise however any larger ones were unlikely considering the time of year. Worth the trip but be prepared to not view any crocs, as they don’t perform on demand. Definitely recommend this cruise.

My wife and I were on our way to Cape Tribulation and decided to do this on the way up. It was high tide and I actually didn’t expect to see any crocs. Our guide was excellent and he knew where to find the crocs. We saw at least 6 crocs, a massive python curled up in a tree and a dead cow. We were privileged to cruise alongside the dominant male croc (who was huge) for about 10 minutes while he was swimming on the surface. We also saw a baby croc and its mother. The best place to see any wildlife is in its natural environment and that’s what you get with this tour.

What an excellent trip with John as our guide. We were lucky enough to see several crocodiles including the 4+ metre long scarface. The trip was relaxing and comfortable and we opted for a glass of wine and beer which was served just before we boarded. The walk to the ramp is through beautiful gardens too. We were also given a complimentary sausage roll and soft drink at the conclusion of our trip. Highly recommended if you are in the area and excellent value for money

This is on crocodile cruise worth doing. My wife and I were the only ones on the first cruise for the day. Our guide Paul was amazing and his knowledge of the daintree was amazing. The first thing we saw was a very rare Great billed heron fly in front of the boat (I know birds watchers this bird is on your bucket list). Many crocs waiting for us to visit them, even Scar made an appearance. Snakes basking on the branches by the river. Highly recommended and will definitely come back again and again. Thanks to the friendly staff and especially to Paul.

We came on this tour with some friends who are Port Douglas locals and we all thought this tour was excellent. Our guide Ray was very knowledgeable and we saw several crocs including babies and Scarface. We also saw snakes and a Great Billed Heron. A very enjoyable tour with friendly staff and we highly recommend.

Jerowright September 2021

The trip was awesome. We saw 4 crocs. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this subject. The guy on the front counter was pretty ordinary. Luckily did not effect the trip.

781bradleyr September 2021

Saw an array of wildlife including beautiful birds that the guide was very knowledgeable of . He was also knowledgeable on conditions of the river for times of years and was able to point out previous floods & explain how mangrove systems work. All staff were incredible in service. Even more than that I happened to lose my ring here , they ended up finding it , calling me and posting it for free across state as I had returned home. Wonderful family ran business. highly recommend

KNKL12 September 2021

Great tour for our family. Right from when we arrived to when we left, we felt very welcomed by all friendly staff. Bruce was super knowledgeable about crocs and the area. We all learnt a lot. Great family run business.

morganbranson September 2021

Excellent 1hr cruise! We were lucky enough to only have 4 others on our cruise so it was very personal. Guide was very knowledgeable about crocs & where to find them, we saw approx 7 adult crocs & multiple juveniles. Highly recommend!

Casey L September 2021

Enjoyable and relaxing Daintree river cruise. Saw plenty of crocs including babies. Bruce was friendly and knowledgeable about the wildlife and area. Would recommend!

K6782EBgrahamg September 2021

Good short tour. Get to see a lot of the river and creeks with crocs in an hour and with a excellent guides. Saw some baby ones and a couple of big ones even though a highish tide in August. One thing I would warn is if you’re going in the warmer summer months be careful with the tides as crocs are not very visible then as too hot to get out of water which is not really divulged much and you Need to go at Low tide.

kimsuebj August 2021

Fantastic, informed and up close crocodile and wildlife spotting river trip into a pristine environment. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora (we ate hibiscus flower petals, saw crocs, young and old, a tree snake, water dragons, a green tree frog and a large grey heron). Only five of us in the boat and, having asked if it was ok, our guide extended the tour by 20 minutes to show us more. Great value for money and an unforgettable experience. Thanks.

JASandRJS August 2021

Cruising on the Daintree River is wonderful and on top of this we had a fantastic croc spotting tour. We saw plenty of wonderful specimens from jeuveniles up to the very old male called Scarface. We would thoroughly recommend Bruce Belchers tours. It was so pleasant and informative and Ray was very knowledgeable. All the staff including those at the cafe and shop were delightful and even the walk through the beautiful rainforest gardens down to the river was a real treat. Thank you all so much.

Awesome trip...Bruce is very knowledgeable and knows where the crocs are...we saw 3 females, juveniles, babies and 2 massive males...simply awesome to see them in the wild
